Lalawow Dog Pack Harness Canvas Saddle Bag for Outdoor Travel Training Camping Hiking

I bought this for my 95 pound lab, who is a big guy and the ideal/average weight for his size, however even with the straps tightened all the way it was still a little lose.The first time I used this bag I packed a 24 oz bottle of water, a plastic bag, a collapsible rubber bowl and small bag of dog food on one side. On the other side I packed another 24 oz bottle of water and my poncho (folded up and in it's bag). Put the pack on my dog and drove to the trail head... The bag broke as my dog jumped out of the car. The front strap came completely off (where it was sewn to the bag). I only had enough room in my pack for one water bottle and I had to carry the other in my hand and leave my poncho in the car (really glad the rain held off).I plan to cut down the straps a bit and use some heavy duty thread to sew all of the straps to the bag.----EDIT-----After I posted this review I was contacted by Customer Service and offered a refund, which I accepted.I didn't bother to reach out initially because it is usually such a hassle getting anywhere with most companies AND getting to the post office to mail back a package this size for us 9 to 5-ers (who live in a rural areas) is nearly impossible. Lesson learned, what a great way to do business, I upped my initial 2 star review to 4 stars.----EDIT----I used leather thread to secure all of the straps to the pack and have been using this pack on a regular basis for the past year. My dog loves it, loves wearing it and it has held up very well. Excellent value!

Cannot get enough of this doggie backpack. I'm an avid lifting/runner and I own a pitmix who is lean and very active. Was looking for something that would give her the satisfaction of feeling like she worked and this does the trick. I load the side pockets with small weights from my personal weighted vest(2-5lbs) my cell phone and some water bottles and you're set for your walk/run. Do not using the leash clip on this bag if you own a dog heavier than 10-15lbs! Mine snapped, but I don't mind because my pit keeps her collar on at all times fears less. Fits perfectly for my 55lbs pit! Bag will fit a dog up to and over 100lbs easy! I use this everyday! And my girl jumps in excitement when she sees me grab it!

I love it! We have a 5 month old husky pup (about 35 lbs now) and decided to get him a little pack to dispense a little more of his energy. It fits him just about if we pull the body straps to its tightest function but the straps kind of hang, so we tuck it into the side pockets. He will definitely grow into it, but if you have a pup any smaller, this bag will probably dominate them. The best part about this pack is how cute it is! Everyone thinks that he's a service or rescue dog when we walk around with it. We fill the sides with ice packs so that it keeps him cool and also adds weight. Good purchase for the price!!

I purchased this pack for my rough collie, she's roughly 50 lbs, 18" around her neck, and 24" around her girth with a fine build. I got her a medium. It fits, but is as tight as the belly straps can go. Overall I'm impressed with the quality for the price. I can easily fit four 16 oz. water bottles in the two big pockets. To give an idea of capacity I have a pic of her with everything I stuffed in it. It will have plenty of room for my standard hiking essentials a human water, dog water, collapsible bowl, small bag of treats or kibble, my phone, wallet and chapstick. It will twist if it isn't properly balanced, as in 2 full waters on one side and nothing on the other, it will twist about a 1/4 turn. However, this isn't a huge concern to me as I wouldn't want to have my dog carrying a hugely disproportionate weight on one side vs the other. I will try to update my review after a few hikes to update on how it wears.

I love this doggie backpack and reviewed many to make this choice. I wanted one for daily doggie walks or short hikes.It fits just right for my 4-year old 80-pound Golden Retriever. He already wears car and walking harnesses so he had no complaint with wearing this backpack. It is low profile, not too big, but big enough, excellent quality, looks great, and the tan canvas is a great color and looks sharp. I may spray it with some waterproofing to help protect it in rain although canvas will dry so it's not necessary. You can also wax fabric for waterproofing, but it will change the look to more like weathered leather. It's made of high quality canvas with strong straps, rings, snap closures, and zippers. It has 4" x 7" open pockets on each side with a Velcro closure and has a 5" x 10" zippered pocket on both sides. This allows you to carry water bottles, plastic waste bags, cell phones, collapsible dog water dishes, etc. but not so bulky that you feel like your dog is a pack animal! Highly recommend.

This is a great bag for my English Bull Terrier, He can now carry his own water and bowl plus mine. BUT and this is a big but. Do not attached your leash to it. The straps are not strong enough. First time we used it the strap the leash attached to broke off and the dog went running. I had to chase her up a mountain to catch up with her. Luckily another reviewer had mentioned this so we had packed her harness and once I caught her the harness went on and all was well again.

Although this fits our labrador comfortably with the straps allowing space for him to grow, the bags are very small. Room enough for poop bags and treats but nothing else. I was hoping they would be enough to hold a bottle of water for the dog. Overall then the quality is good but the dimensions make the product less useful.

Excellent and comfy on my Belgium shepherd, handy for her to carry light items back from the shop, make sure you even out weight to both sides if she’s carrying her own water bottle etc

Has a connector for lead but found it better to put lead on dog collar or whole pack won't stay aligned.

tengo un braco de weimar de 35kg, compré la alforja para hacer el Camino de Santiago y llevara su pienso y ha sido un acierto. La capacidad de cada bolsa es bastante buena sin cargar mucho al perro, las cremalleras son buenas, se ajusta muy bien al pecho del animal por tres puntos y casi no baila y sobretodo no le molesta al andar y no le ocasiona rozaduras a penas... Me ha llovido y no se ha mojado mucho ni la tela no el interior, el asa que tiene arriba va genial para agrarrar al perro en los cruces sin tener que ponerle la correa. El color el genial y no se ensucia casi, disimula bien la suciedad. En definitiva lo recomiendo 100% si teneis perro mediano/grande por la capacidad y las sujeciones. salu2

So far so good! We have a 70 pound lab mix, and this fits him nicely. The adjustable straps would make it just fine for a smaller or larger dog as well, so you don't have to worry terribly much about the sizing. Anything smaller than a medium sized dog might have a little trouble, though.Is it durable? Sure has been, haha. I've used it to drag and lift my dog. He's only 10 months and at 70 pounds, he makes for one frisky sack of potatoes when he spots a squirrel on one of our adventures in the park. He had some fear of cars when I adopted him, and the backpack made it easy to lift/shove him into the car for trips to the vet. Now he gets into the backseat just fine (thanks to trips to the park and side trips through the drive through to get bacon lol).We've carried everything from toys to bottled water and bags of treats and cans of kidney beans.

I want to like this product very much. It was exactly what I was looking for. Not too bright, just big enough to hold a little water and some treats or food.However, the first time we went out for a walk with it on my dog's back the looped piece of cloth that holds the foremost strap to the bag came apart. This left a whole in the seam and the bag was no longer attached to harness.At this point, I would not recommend buying this product. I would love to be able to revise this review if the seller is willing to work on a resolution and replace it with a bag that is more durable. I would like to believe I just got a defective unit and this is not indicative of the product as a whole. If not, I will just return it.

Correzione:Dopo aver dato 5 stelle rettifico, e gli do appena 2 stelle perché ha le cuciture davvero deboli. Con un uso un po impegnativo in foresta e collina si sono aperte le cuciture dei ganci a clip sotto addome, aperta una cucitura di un anello/gancio ed in fine anche una cucitura parte inferiore di una delle due tasche. Lo porto dal sarto a far battere di nuovo tutte le cuciture con un materiale adatto.Peccato.Davvero contento di questo acquisto per il mio "cagnolino" .... ora è pronto per l'apocalisse, cuciture ottime... tessuto ottimo.. fibbie ottime... unica cosina da poter migliorare (al massimo) la parte dorsale potrebbe essere regolabile tramite delle "straps" o con un velcro (chissà se mi sono spiegato bene... di sicuro ci entrano due bottiglie da mezzo litro ed altre due o tre cosine... potrebbe essere apprezzabile commercializzare delle patch con il velcro come nelle foto illustrative. 5* meritatissime.

La mochila tiene buena calidad precio. Las costuras parecen fuertes y se pueden ajustar a gran variedad de tamaños, mi perro una hembra de Braco de Weimar de 26kg le queda bien. Los dos compartimentos los tengo llenos con dos bolsas de arena con unos 2,5KG en total y después de una semana de uso parece que aguanta bien.

Bag looks great, fit my 95lb lab relativley well. You have to balance the wight in both bags or it will beging to twist on them. Would of been perfect with a 5 star review but the stitching around the collar was very poorly done. It simply snapped off on out first use. Id be happy with an exchange but as of now it looks like a refund.

Al primo utilizzo e alla prima strattonata del mio pastore tedesco, il guinzaglio/gancio dello zaino e saltato via, cuciture scarse per un cane di 30kg. Ho rimediato con delle cuciture fatte da me, solo per pigrizia non ho restituito il prodotto.

Nos encantó. Lo probamos con nuestro cachorro (18KG) y le estaba un poco suelto aun ajustándolo al máximo, pero esperaremos un tiempo más para que le quede perfecto. El material parece muy bueno y las costuras muy bien sujetas. Lo recomendamos 100% para perros medianos y, sobre todo, grandes.

The pack is just barely too big on my APBT rescue, he is old though so he isn't as solid as he once was. Because of this, the straps will drag if left to that. You might consider a smaller pack for your dog, it's good for a mid-ranged large dog and could probably fit an extra large dog (I'd say my pit is barely considered a large dog). The pack is a reasonably good quality that he seems comfortable wearing. The pockets hold a 5 lb weight with no problem. There's been no signs of tearing and the weight is balanced evenly across his upper back. The pack rests further back than I'd like to see but he doesn't seem to mind that and for the lower price I expected this before buying it (he won't be using this setup that often). He definitely likes using my weights on a walk though, he's the kind of dog that enjoys a strength challenge. Using more energy has been helping his appetite too apparently, which is important at his old age, so that was a nice surprise for me. He has less wasted energy between walks now which is the main reason I got it for him. For this price tier, I'm easily giving it 5 stars for overall quality and clear product description, what you read is what you get.

Necesitaba la mochila para perros porque suelo ir a escalar y las aproximaciones a pie de via son largas. Entre el peso del material y el agua cargo con demasiado peso.... siempre mis perros de arriba para bajo, parecen incansables.... asi que vi la mochila y me dije, esta es la mia. Cabe perfectamente dos cantimploras de litro y sobra espacio... mis perretes son grandes, uno pesa 36kg y el otro 29. A los dos se les ajusta perfecto!

ottimo zainetto per cani !!! noi abbiamo un boxer che gli sta a pennello !!!! per lo meno si gestisce le sue cose !!!
