Legrand radiant TM870BKCC10 15 Amp Rocker Wall Switch, Single Pole Decorator Light Switches, Black (1 Count)

I bought this light switch to replace my old one that had fallen apart, and I’m really happy with it. Installation was straightforward, and the switch feels sturdy and well-made. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable product and definitely worth the purchase if you need a simple and effective replacement switch.

Very good quality wall switch. Great feel and works great. Must buy. The color is spot on. I love how it works. It has a slight clicking noise which I like. It is solid. It clicks off and works with my ceiling fan and light. Perfect. Very easy to install. I will be buying more especially at this low price. I highly recommend. Great fit.

The home I purchased had a mix of rocker and standard switches. The rocker switches are newer so I'm in the process of upgrading all of my switches. I'm in no rush and I upgrade as time and funds allow and I believe this is the third or fourth switch I've purchased. Love the quality and feel to these switches, they are inexpensive but don't feel cheap. I'll be buying a few more.

Love this switch, exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a unique switch for the garbage disposal but also didn’t want it to look out of place. The nickel finish is perfect, looks great with the white cover and ties in with the nickel finish faucet. It was easy to install and functionally works great.

I decided that I like the color, and the color matches was nice with my decorative cover plate, but I have 2 issues with these switches: 1. They make a loud click sound 2. They don’t fit well with my decorative plate, because when switch is in the off position, I can see a shiny silver screw, I think, from the gap between the switch and the cover plate. See the second photo. These 2 things bother me so much that I am changing to a Leviton Quiet switch, which also makes a click sound, it’s just not as loud as the Legrand rocker switches. I would prefer no sound, but that switch does not exist yet. Will the Leviton switch have the same problem as Legrand, with me being able to see silver screws in a gap between the cover plate and switches? I don’t know yet. A third problem: The Legrand switches already have scratches around the edges from the installation. That might have been a problem caused by the installer, who was supposed to be a licensed electrical installer; but the installer also did not get the switches or cover plate level - it was sloppy work! I had to take the cover plate off to get it more level, which is why the screws on the cover plate lost some of their color. I did not have as much issue with the Legrand plug, and decided to keep the Legrand plug. See third photo.

We swapped out the toggles and receptacles in our kitchen during a remodel. Mainly did it because Legrand sells a momentary rocker in this style made for operating a garbage disposal. So we installed these single pole switches to match.

Good switch and nice feel when installed. Only thing I'm not sure on is the loudness of the click. I enjoy a good switch, but the click will need some getting used to. Easy to install. Has back stab, has side wire, I used J hooks, of course. I've got some quieter switches that I didn't love the sound of at first, but they grew on me. Contemplating switching to all LeGrand - But, still testing the waters.
