Great reel for the price. I recommend cutting off the first 20ft of line to use to tie clips onto your gear and give yourself a little more room on the reel when retrieving the line. Bright color makes it easy to find when I tie off my buoy underwater.

Nice and study construction. I use it on my fishing kayak for the 5lb anchor that I use. Not sure if the line that came on it will hold up with that much weight. So far this is a winner and is way better than my old setup (a retractable dog leash). This was the least expensive reel that I found and it is great! Buy it.

Really like this. So much more convenient than my old manual windup.

Great, compact exactly what I want

I bought this after seeing someone else suggest it for a kayak anchoring system. This works great and is just what I needed to start actually using my anchor. All the other diy systems that I built where good, but just left it so that it was just annoying enough that I would not use it. Once I used this setup one time, I was all about it and wanted to change my spot just to reel this up and then drop it down again. I use the original rope that came on it and it works great. If you are looking for a better solution to your anchoring setup...give this a try, plus it is pretty cheap.

It's a good gear, light and in a small size so that you don't get clumsy ina dive, also looks resistant.Could be better with a clip attached to the line (yes, clips are sold separately).Overall, i can recommend this product.
