Great Product, Quality Needs Work
This is my favorite iPad case. I’ve purchased four of them. Unfortunately, those purchases are over the lives of two iPads. The handle breaks on these. The first one lasted over a year, and I had decided to upgrade to a newer iPad model. The newest iPad Pro model works as well as the first, but I’ve replaced the case three times in six months because the handle keeps breaking at the joint where it flips out into a kickstand. The first time, I contacted the company since I’d only had the case for two months. They clarified if I only needed a new handle, which means they have had other customers with the same issue. They offered to send a free handle replacement but I waited over a month and it never shipped. I bought another and it broke a few weeks later. I’m on my third for this model and when this one breaks I’ll try something else. It’s a shame because this one is comfortable to hold, easy to use and has the exact features I want. I’d be more loyal if they actually fulfilled their replacement promise.

Also works with new iPad Air 4
I have a LapWorks Soft Grip Handle Stand on my iPad Mini and love it, so when I bought a new iPad Air 4th generation (2020) I wanted one for it as well. I contacted the company through their website and was told that, although they had not yet tested it on the new iPad, the model for the 11 inch iPad Pro (2018) should work because it had practically the same dimensions. Since I could order from Amazon and return it if it didn't fit, I decided to try it. Well, it fits perfectly! The only problem I have with the product is the stand. It doesn't come out quite far enough for stability. It also slides around pretty badly on the table as the little grip piece on the bottom is inadequate. Otherwise, the product works as expected.

Top notch customer service - replaced piece that had broken for free very quickly.
Revised from 1 star to 5 star. *Top notch* customer service—they seem to ‘get it’, i.e., do whatever it takes to satisfy a customer and preserve the brandname because no product is perfect. I received an email very soon after I had posted my original negative review. The company said they stand behind their products and will send me a replacement for free. The replacement arrived much sooner than expected. Very happy because the product‘s features (thin case /w rotation, hand strap and kickstand) meets all my needs. Other products are too thick and bulky and I had spent a lot of time researching before selecting this product. Will continue to purchase this company’s products in the future because of their exceptional customer service!———.[my original review]I've also had the same problem that others have reported. , i.e., the plastic piece that holds the hand strap broke off first at one end, then at the other. Luckily, it did not break off at both ends at the same time. If it had my 11 inch iPad Pro would have dropped off my hand and been seriously damaged. The product is no longer useable. I've only had it for 6 months. Have been very gentle with it - only used in indoor professional office environment, not out in the field. This is clearly a manufacturing/design issue where either the plastic quality is very poor or the design is flawed by using plastic that is too thin at critical strees points.. Very disappointed because the product works well otherwise.

You’ll be hard pressed to find a better case than this one
This is my second lapworks case I’ve purchased for my 3rd iPad. My first iPad I had a New Trent Grabbit with a leather strap and a plastic insert stand. When I finally replaced my 3rd gen iPad with an iPad Pro 9.7 I went searching for a new case with similar features. I bought one on amazon that lasted a year before the plastic got brittle and broke causing my iPad to fall out of the case randomly. So the search for a new case continued. After days of research I finally found and decided to purchase the Lapworks case. I was pleasantly surprised by the construction of the case. I never used the stand with the New Trent case because it was cumbersome to carry around and attach to the case. With the lapworks case the stand is built into the strap and the whole mechanism is easily removed and reattached. The angle that the stand holds the iPad is sufficient to ensure stability in both landscape and portrait positions. The case itself was much stronger than the previous case. When my iPad Pro 9.7 inch button stopped functioning and I replaced it with a new iPad Pro 11 inch I immediately went searching for another lapworks case and was happy that it existed. The case gives room to charge the Apple Pencil and seems even more sturdy than the predecessor. This has to be the best one on the market.

Tried many cases, until I found the perfect one...
I have tried many different cases for a variety of iPads, including my iPad Pros (9.7, 10.5 and of course, the new 11 inch model) and I have seen issues with many of them. Some of those issues weren't the products issues, but the simple fact that they could not be used in the ways that I wanted. This case simply satisfies all my requirements. Its a lightweight case, provides pretty good all-around coverage (except for where the new apple pencil magnetically attaches/charges) and is versatile wherever I take my iPad pro 11 inch. The most useful component of this case is the detachable wrist strap. It snaps on and off with a press of two buttons/clips. On top of being an adjustable wrist strap, it also doubles as a stand that opens with another two buttons/clips. And hold on, I haven't even explained the best part...the wrist strap/stand SWIVELS. Yea, you heard right..it swivels 360 degrees. Pretty smooth swivel too. I mean did I mention that the strap is cushioned? Definitely a must-try for yourself.

LapWorks Soft Grip Handle
Well at first impressions I find it somewhat cumbersome. The grip handle does put a strain on your wrist after a while. The handle has a built in stand that will let you prop up your device on a table. Overall I have mixed impressions about this. I do use it with my iPad Pro.

Don't Use an iPad without it
This is my second Handle Stand from Lapworks. I literally don't know how people use their iPads without them. It's my second one because I got a new iPad with a different form factor. Lapworks stands are good, but they can't alter reality. (Yet.) It makes the iPad feel like it's a part of you when you're holding it -- and the stand is 100% unobtrusive. Should have more than 5 stars. Maybe 15.
