The same old Lillian Too recycling on information. Nothing new. I should have learned by now that all her books are just cut and pastes of previous books.

Book in general is great. I received faulty book. Some pages were blank, I am guessing error in printing. Sending back, ordering another one.

I have had this book for years - it has taken me years to apply most of the rules!!!very easy to pick up put down as and when the inspiration has taken me.Would have liked a bit more tips on how I could resolve some issues eg office door behind me and nothing I can do to change that!!!But all i in all been passing on these tips to all my friends!!!

Got this book recently and found it difficult to apply. Some of the contents are difficult to understand. I would not recommend this book to people like me who only understand a bit of Feng Shui.

I expected a little bit more by this book... it starts by asking you to calculate your KUA number and then everything is based on that. It gives suggestions about where you should sit, what you should wear and so on... and then some tips about how to decorate your home. But it is a bit vague and very summarised for me.

I am beginning to learn about fend shui and this was the perfect book to start with.

As a first Feng Shui book, it is perfect! Easy to read, general use.. Full of tips! I love it!

I recently read several books on feng shui. Although I would recommend most of them, I found each had a clearly different style and approach.Lillian Too's book is, in my opinion, one of the best. The author honors the traditions and cultural values behind feng shui, but offers practical suggestions in terms of applying in today's world. She also makes the topic fun and entertaining by providing a balanced mix of history, examples, diagrams, and drawings. Colorful and easy to read. Topics are presented in concise sections so referring back to topics is easy. I would highly recommend this title to those new to feng shui, and those looking for an easy-to-use reference.There are other books out there which, although arguably more comprehensive, are so analytical at times they come across as dull and dry to the causal reader. This book has an engaging and open approach, making learning about feng shui, well, fun. But it also successfully does justice to the topic of feng shui, with serious content and guidance.This beautifully designed book would make a wonderful gift for a new bride or homeowner. In writing this book, the author applied the key principles of feng shui resulting in a simple and balanced, yet beautiful and meaningful book.

Lillian Too is so well known globally now as the most prolific talented Master Feng Shui practitioner. As the title itself says, these are Easy-To-Use Tips. Indeed, she has a gift for synthesizing and distilling deeply nuanced aspects of Feng Shui into "Easy-To-Use" tips. I am definitely an admirer of her books.I am a highly visual learner. I am very grateful for the number of illustrations which fill this book, and most of her books as part of her brand tradition. When she makes a point about Feng Shi, there is an illustration to demonstrate it. And yet, please keep in mind these are typically half page-2 page tips. While Ms. Too communicates and teaches so much of Feng Shui Success (for multiple portions of our life which all work together), these are not 4 hour lecture presentations on each Tip. That was beyond the scope of this book.Because the hardcover edition is now out of print, there are no Table of Contents section provider by the publisher which is so often part of what most of the new books for sale at Amazon feature. I'm not going to cite all the point/tips, of course, because that would be doing a disservice to Ms. Too and her intellectual property. However, I found so many new tips from her which I can definitely use for enhancing my success in multiple areas of my life. Additionally, she clarified in a number of tips where there might be some potential confusion or contraction of what part to use. Repeatedly she reassured the average reader like myself that no house or apartment would ever be 100% perfect for each person or family's Feng Shui and reiterated the philosophy and approach to making the best of things, not getting worried and lost in the details. The hardcover edition makes this book an excellent gift item for friends or as a hostess present.
