This book offers great bonus for activating Peach Blossom, Noblemen, and Sky Horse Luck
I bought this book together with the author's Feng Shui book because to really learn Feng Shui, one needs to know at least the basics of Chinese Astrology. I already have many Chinese Astrology books in my library but I continue to buy more because each book always has something unique to offer. This book definitely exceeded my expectations. This is actually the first book I've read that provided value-added knowledge on how to activate for peach blossom, noblemen, and sky horse luck. I paid thousands of dollars in the past to learn these strategies from other Feng Shui masters. I recommend getting the author's book on Feng Shui as a great accompaniment to this book. These two books truly shows the author's remarkable depth of knowledge and expertise in both the art of Chinese Astrology and Feng Shui.

Great introduction to the Four Pillars
Overall the book contained a well organized explanation of the Four Pillars. There were plenty of charts and detailed explanation of the elements and how they interact. While reading through the chapters, I felt that I wasn't quite understanding how to put things together. This was alleviated as I read through the example charts towards the end of the book. It helped that I could flip back and forth between the case studies and the relevant chapters when I was stuck to review and better comprehend. However, many of the case studies had similar day masters. I think more studies of different day masters could also help clarify concepts. Her introduction seemed a puff the image of the subject up and I found that tone off-putting. It is an interesting to note that she (and sometimes the famous Joey Yap, who deals with many Chinese metaphysical practices such as Four Pillars and face reading) both tend to hold that the Four Pillars is vastly different than Western Astrology. I had been studying my Western Astrology charts prior to reading this book and, via comparison, find that they both actually talk about the same things but using different points of reference and different algorithms. They both (Four Pillars and Western Astrology) discuss possibilities presented by the universe but in both metaphysical studies, the individual has the choice of how to best use those opportunities and energies. Selling them as vastly different without actually studying the other is just a strawman argument. At times, especially towards the end of the book, Althea S.T. writes that things like the clashes, harms, etc will "depend" but without showing examples on some of the differences in how they have presented in charts that she has seen. I found that these parts left me confused on how to interpret what they mean. For example, my brother has 2 voids but the most the book says about 2 voids is that people have a difficult time in life. How so? Can you give examples from celebrities or even non-celebrities?Book quality: I'm not completely sure but this may be a publication through Amazon's self-publishing service. As such, there is a healthy sprinkle of typos throughout the book. The book is still understandable but this could have been easily remedied. Moreover, the book cover was printed and cut slightly off such that my book's lower edge of the front cover has a 2mm white portion (from outside the printed area) that was meant to be cut off. This white edge also has a mild adhesive on it. This would be unsuitable if you want to present it for a gift but doesn't affect information quality. The book is overall a decent introduction for a subject that is not as widely studied and written about in the English language.
