Nice Sturdy Roof Cross Bars
I just got a 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid. I didn't want to spend the money on the roof rails so I chose these. I was a little skeptical on the installation and quality of the product. The product itself is good quality and comes with extra pieces and good instructions. The installation took about 2 hours. I would say read through the instruction and take your time. Making sure you have the cross bars facing the right direction and especially when your are lifting the railing up and cutting it. I would also recommend putting threatlocker like Loctite over the threads of the screws so they don't unscrew over time. I really like the quality and look of these bars. I drove around the neighborhood at 25 to 30 miles and did not hear any noise. I will drive the freeway and see. I will update my review when that happens.

Just what my CRV needed
This fits the 2021 CRV. I was most nervous about the cutting part. I used tin cutters/shears, however it was difficult to cut with them. I recommend you use a dremel unless you have strong forearms and hands and a really good pair of shears. Otherwise the reviews here gave me some confidence regarding the ease of installation. Instructions were easy to comprehend after reviewing a few times before tackling the project. These bars are a great value!! Perfect size!! I don’t like the look of roof racks. I prefer these crossbars as they appear to make the SUV look a little more rugged. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome. My only wish is that the manufacturer included the plastic pry tool. Otherwise no complaints at all. I did notice a slight whistle at about 80mph with the sunroof cracked but it was slight. I always have music or an audiobook going so I won’t normally notice it. I’d rate the whistle noise level at about a 3/10. Not enough for me to be up in arms. I don’t hear it with the sunroof closed or when it’s open and I’m driving slower than about 80mph. Honestly you should kind of expect a little additional noise since the wind has to pass through it at higher speeds. It’s science.

Fit's great, looks slick, easy to install - take your time and do the prepwork!
I've not had this for long, but I'll come back if I have any issues with the functionality. Installwise however it was simple and took be about an hour. When unpacking, my box had a cover next to post. So I made sure to keep each pair together or note which went with which so they would go on easy at the end. The key is in the prep-work. Take your time. The instructions say to go to each stud on the car and thread/un-thread the mounting bolt to remove the factory paint from the car's studs. DO THIS it makes putting the nut on SO much easier when the rack is on. Tedious, but better than stripping threads out and paying a dealership to finish the install. Also, I opted to use a dab of thread-locker on each threaded fastener so that they will stay put over time. Next, I assembled each cross-member to the post and loosely put the 2 screws in on the left and right side using a stubby screwdriver. Just tight enough so it doesn't wobble. Then I mounted the racks on the car over the studs. Since the above screws are still somewhat loose, the posts are allowed to shift a bit so they can fit over the studs. Then take the stubby screwdriver and gently pull up one side of the rack without shifting the post on the crossbar and tighten one screw. Do the same for the other side. Then remove the whole thing and put it on a table upside down. Put some thread-locker on the other looser screw and tighten it down. Then undo the first screw and add thread-locker to it and tighten down. Repeat for the other side. Repeat the above for the other bar assembly. Once the bars are mounted back on the car, it's time to secure them with the nuts. Again, I put some thread-locker on each nut before screwing it down tight. After that, I popped the covers on each side. I had to wiggle one down and give it a fist pound to make sure it secured properly. That was it!

Awesome
I was looking for a roof rack for my 2007 CR-V, but didn't want to spend over $200 on the genuine Honda part. I was a little leery of buying these, but the reviews seemed overwhelmingly positive, so I thought I'd take a chance. I'm glad I did. They are really well made and look just like the genuine Honda rack. As many other reviewers have mentioned, the only downside is that the instructions are incomplete and a little unclear. The instructions imply that the two ends of each rack are already attached to the crossbars. Not the case. The ends and cross bars are separate and there's a little bag with screws and washers to attach them. This isn't shown anywhere in the instructions, but it's actually a good thing that they're not attached. This allows you to adjust the length slightly to get them to fit right. Here I'm quoting from another review (July 9, 2013) who explains the process very clearly: *** "Here is what you do with the extra screws and washers. NOTE: This series of steps begins AFTER you have cleaned the paint off the studs per the instructions. 1) Before mounting the rack to the roof of your CRV, arrange the bases and cross bars according to the labeling on each piece--Front, Left, Right, etc. 2) Insert the cross bars, blunt edge forward, into the appropriate bases. 3) Attach the two small phillips head screws and washers on the underside of each cross bar and base, only SNUGLY TIGHTEN THE SCREWS into the cross bars so they can still move a little but only if gently forced as you may need to do a little adjusting in the next step BEFORE fully tightening these screws. 4) Place the racks over the exposed factory studs. NOTE: You may have to move the cross bars in or out of the bases to get a proper, centered fit overs the studs. 5) If you "snugly" secured the eight phillips head screws, then when you remove the racks the cross bar's position in the base will be maintained and you can now tighten the eight phillips head screws! 6) Once you have tightened the eight phillips head screws in their proper position ensuring the correct fit you can continue with the directions... IMPORTANT: It's a good idea to apply a drop of "Blue Locktite" to all the threaded fittings to keep them from vibrating loose once you're on the road!" *** I followed those directions and installed the racks easily within about an hour.
