I’ve been trying to find a good bone broth protein powder for a while, and Ancient Nutrition’s Salted Caramel flavor has been a game-changer. The taste is surprisingly rich and sweet without being overly artificial—perfect for mixing into coffee, smoothies, or even just water. I love that it’s packed with 19g of protein per serving and also supports joint, skin, and gut health. I’ve noticed less bloating since I started incorporating it into my morning routine, and my workouts feel more supported thanks to the protein content. The fact that it’s paleo, keto-friendly, and gluten-free is a huge bonus for my dietary needs. It mixes really well—no clumps, and the salted caramel flavor makes it feel like a treat rather than a supplement. This is a very nice alternative to traditional savory bone broths. I consume all different types of bone broths anywhere from 1-3 times per day. I suffer from early onset osteo arthritis due to hypermobility EDS. Bone broths help my joint pain, and help me manage my weight, which is also very important with both health issues. I am only 41 years old and have young kids, so I need my body to function properly for a long time to come. I have made a list of pros and cons from my experience with bone broth and this product. Pros: 1.) Chocolate and Salted Caramel both taste great to me. The chocolate does have a chocolate coconut flavor, so if that is not your thing, it is important to know. 2.) It is low calorie and keeps you feeling full. 3.) Great for gut health. 4.) Great for connective tissue and skin health. 5.) A great (and sweet) alternative to savory bone broth. 6.) More versatile that savory bone broth. You can drink it hot, cold, with coffee, in a smoothie, etc. Cons: 1.) No very easy to mix. Not sure I could use this on the go, and be as happy with it. I generally pulse it in the blender and it comes out frothy and good. People say varying things about this. I like the product to be well incorporated - no lumps. I mix it with hot water most of the time. I do the same thing, whether I use it cold or hot. 2.) The price is high for the amount of servings. That being said, I think it is worth it to use once a day. The quality of the product is on point. I recommend this product for people looking for something different than the typically savory bone broth. This product is more versatile than traditional bone broths. I feel like for me, and my situation, it has definitely enhanced my bone broth regimine.

I purchased this to use in my coffee and I’m happy with the taste...I just add an about a teaspoonful to my usual 3 cups a day as a way to get extra protein because the whole scoop that’s provided would be too much at once. I use a frother to ensure it’s mixed well but it seems like it dissolves easily. Great value for the price!

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but after seeing a lot of reviews before I purchased this product, I was leery about the potential clumps as some stated and the flavor. I purchased the salted caramel flavor, and although it took just a little while to stir it up in my coffee, it made my coffee foamy, resembling a cappuccino, and the taste was amazing!!! I put in my blender the next time, and no clumps and more foamy in a matter of seconds. The health benefits should also be considered, as this product has way more protein than a lot of liquid broth and half the sodium. I can’t have a lot of sodium due to blood pressure issues, so I pay close attention to that, along with buying products to help with bones, joints, skin, etc. I highly recommend trying this product, but it is pricey, so that would be my only complaint.

Very tasty. Use it religiously now each morning in our coffee. Helped also to eliminate a use for a creamer.

Wonderful flavor and creamy texture. I put this in my coffee every day. I especially love this flavor, I am a repeat buyer.

Does not mix well with Water. Can’t see how it’s absorbs well in the body very chunky even after blended.

I like the taste but does not mix well with coffee. I’ve tried adding the coffee first and then the collagen, and then adding collagen first, and then the coffee. Doesn’t matter which way, still very clumpy. I will have to buy a hand held whip that operates by battery to mix it.
