Honestly I couldn't be happier with this pair of jewelry loupes! First off these things feel so heavy duty I honestly don't feel like even if I dropped them I would do anything to them! The large lens gives me plenty of viewing room plenty of visual of what I'm looking at! The reason I chose this one is because the others I've chosen have a large and a smaller lens and this is right in the middle at * 40 and also has a larger lens than them! This pair also came with a nice flip open plastic case that is not the best but it's more than what my others have come with and even came with a micro rag for cleaning off the lens! It has both a dual white LED light and one UV light and I've probably used that for a few hours a piece and still seems to have perfect light but I can't say it much about the batteries they're still going! I have told a bunch of my buddies to purchase these and they are also quite happy!

These loupes are very handy. I buy and sell vintage costume jewelry, and this tool enables me to clearly identify makers' marks easily. The only issue I had was with the cover for one of them. The screws fell out and the cover fell off the first time I used it. I was able to reassemble it, but I was disappointed that it happened at all. Other than that I am very pleased with my purchase, and you can't beat the price!

I bought these to use in a graphic design class for evaluating print processes and thought that the lights would come in handy but they are not predictable. Sometimes the lights work sometimes they don’t but the magnification is excellent. You just have to provide your own light source.

Very happy with this order. The everything (mainly the lights) does work. Easy to use. Items were packed with care. Came with case, carrying bag, cleaning cloth.I was tempted to do 4 stars because the construction quality (they feel a little cheaply made) but they were made affordable. Yet, I feel the company went above and beyond to give you more then your moneys worth.

I ordered these as gifts after a friend saw me using one. Easy to use, the light is bright and makes things easier to see, plus you always have a pocket light too. The black (UV) light is great for identifying stuff (try it on old "vaseline glass" to get that green glow). The 3 button batteries are easy to exchange, you can use paper clip to open the compartment. Just make sure that the screws holding the swiveling cover don't get too lose or fall out (a drop of nail polish or superglue might help to prevent that)
