ProTechTrader2pcs Spring Clip Black Plastic 1 x 1.5V AA Battery Case Holder

I expected some really thin wire and poor soldering. Wire was thin, but soldering was good. I paid $1.74 (Sept 2016) for these and shipping from China was really fast. I see they're now $4.(Update, April '17, I see they're now $10!!!)

I ordered this item for a solar light, because the it was so corroded that it just quit working. So far so good, I was able to attach the wires fairly easily with no problems and now the light works! The shipping was also pretty quick considering I live in the east of the U.S. and they ship from China. I would recommend this product.

Bought two. Both are defective. Black wire to battery negative does not make contact to spring. Battery holder looks OK, but does not have electrical continuity. Check yours.

Says it's a AA battery holder but in fact it's a AAA battery holder. It's a really nice holder too, the battery fits very snug. But I needed a AA battery holder so yea...

Holds the battery well. All worked fine. The wires gauge was too small; the strands are easily broken.

These do the job but perhaps solder tags instead of wires, as it limits the ways to connect these battery holders.

Came in 3 weeks and they work fine.

Product exactly as described, very pleased with the service and the handling and dispatch of my order.
