This has been a life saver for our Maine Coon cat. His fur was full of knots that we couldn't brush or comb out. Every time the cat jumped up on our lap we would remove one knot using the dematting comb. This kept the cat from getting stressed and in a couple days there were no more knots left. Now we use the tool to thin the heavy undercoat. The neighbors are constantly borrowing it. As soon as there are more tools in stock, we're going to order a bunch more for gifts. Great tool.

Hardly removed any of my pet’s hair. My fur baby is shedding a lot of his undercoat and this brush barely did a thing. The hair is also very difficult to remove from brush.
