These are my "go to" bags because of price and quality. I use it for everything from dividing up bulk foods to keep things fresh, aiding in my preservative free long term food storage, weekly food preparation, and emergency gear storage. I love freezing foods for storage, including sauces like my wife's homemade spaghetti sauce, which I double as a quick pizza sauce for the kids. I have her make a couple gallons and then pour them into food prep containers creating bricks that can easily be popped out of the flimsy container. From there I use this product to create many perfect size vacuum seal bags. Drop in a frozen brick of sauce, and vacuum seal it right away and place into the freezer for long term storage. I do the same with several wet foods, this was taught to me by my mother 20 years ago. My homemade jerky has no preservatives, so it needs to be kept in the freezer... this keeps it dry and free of any freezer burn, and you have a sturdy bag to keep it in for use on the road or river. I also love cooking meats, but I buy big sections and slice them myself. Full pork loins are a great example. I have cooked pork steaks, with options for 2-6 per package in my freezer. My son prefers to have them packaged raw and thawed for a fresher product while my wife enjoys to have them already cooked to temperature to heat and eat or use in other foods. The bricks stack up nicely and organized for an impressive selection. I am a hiker, kayaker, year round motorcyclist, and camper... and I started using this product to protect my gear. Everything from medication and medical supplies, to socks, underwear, shirt, hat... you will find several vacuum sealed bags in my daily carry bag so no matter what I ride through or if I fall off my kayak... I have dry gear with me, and confidence it will remain dry.

tend to store meat, sauces, and soups for freezer and this is really holds up! Also use for sous vide and works perfectly. Love that I can cut to the sizes I need which makes it not only easy to use but versatile. Love it

Great bags

Boy, how do you review a product when you have already moved on from it (for the most part)? I own a vacuum sealer, and have owned one for 10 years, but about five years ago, I upgraded to a vacuum chamber. WOW, what a difference. I would never even think about going back to a countertop vacuum sealer so here I sit with a bunch of vacuum bag rolls, and I just don't use them very often. Having said that, I DO use them on occasion....and when I need them, there is no substitute. There is really no comparison between my vacuum chamber and my countertop sealer. The bags for the vacuum chamber are so much cheaper that I have actually paid for a $1,000 vacuum chamber multiple times over just with the cost savings of the bags. I have used a couple thousand vacuum bags and my bags are all just a couple of pennies per bag whereas these bags are still close to $0.20 per bag. I figured out that I probably save between $0.15 - $0.20 per bag for every single one of these bags that I do not need to use. But there are times when I am vacuum sealing something that is longer than I can fit into my vacuum chamber so I am forced to use these rolled bags and to cut them to size. So when that situation arises, there is just no replacement, or suitable substitute. These bags are a MUST. So I give these bags four stars. They do a job for me that I can't always accomplish with my vacuum chamber. They are extremely good value for the money when compared to other brand rolls, but compared to the vacuum chamber, we are just comparing apples to oranges. I realize that I should have purchased a vacuum chamber many years before I actually did, and I would highly recommend for anyone who does almost any amount of home cooking, or home food preparation to consider a cheaper alternative to vacuum bags like this. I still give these 4-Stars because they are still good bags, they are inexpensive when compared to other brands, they are easy to use, they seal very good, and when I need to create odd sized bags, there is no other option. I would buy these again.....but hopefully it will be a very long time before I need to.

These bags work great. They are really sturdy and thick. The only thing that may be a complaint for some is that there is no measurement marks on the bags. I have had others that every couple of inches there is a dashed line to use for relative size measurements when making multiple similar sized bags. Other than that small complaint, these bags are very good value for the money

These work quite well and the price is right. I like that the rolls have notches every so many inches, showing you where to cut if you want standard "bag length" pieces. This also gives you a visual guide if you want to cut lengths that are half or one-quarter the size of a standard bag. Much appreciated. I will be buying this again.

It's a great price, doesn't fit seal a meal. Too big. But you can make it work. Save old roll.

These sealer bags are as good as the bags that come with the sealer units but come in nice large rolls and are less expensive.
