Review: Excellent quality. - This product is sturdy and excellent value. Probable one of my most happy purchases in a while. I bought it for a action camera. I didn’t realize it was a fixed fluid head on the model I got, which means the tilt doesn’t stay where you place it. The tilt goes back to its position when you let go of the handle. No biggie as I kinda like that for smooth tilting back to position. I have other heads that I can use on it from my Tripods. It is heavier than expected but I like the little extra weight. Good buy all around. Review: Fairly Good - Bought it in place of Manfrotto, it works well, smooth but after using it in three occasions the last joint down doesnt hold up when you lock it. I guess I would have to tighten it but its a unfortunate I've not used it for long and its already getting loose.

Outstanding Value - But Missing a Foot
The tripod is very well built. The Video Head is also a great value and great addition to basic monopod. I would have given it five stars, except I need the option of using the monopod without the feet (legs, tripod part). It is easily removed, but there is no rubber foot to take its place --- so it can not be used as a basic monopod. Replacement tripod feet are available on Amazon. Believe it requires 1/4" shaft --- and if you want a spike, you should order that as well. No regrets, just hope the feet arrive before I leave for Antartica.

Superb alternative to more expensive brands.
I just shot a wedding video with this monopod and was quite pleased. I purchased it as an alternative to much more expensive options and didn’t miss out on a thing. The carbon fiber construction is strong and lightweight, the fluid head is smooth, and every aspect of the operation of the monopod is adjustable. The carrying bag is nice too and does not require the fluid head to be removed for it to be stowed. After filming all day, one of the extension locks started to become loose but I was able to quickly tighten it up with the included tools. The quick release plate is very easy to use too, and keeps the camera safely and tightly attached. I think I saw a one star review by someone saying that he doesn’t trust the monopod to hold a camera without falling over, but that user seemed to be trying to use it as a stand alone tripod. While it does hold my A7iii upright hands off when the lower ball joint is tightened, that’s not how you use a monopod. Don’t hesitate to purchase!

Broke
I really liked this product at first and would've given it a full 5 stars had it not been for the carbon fiber model being slightly heavier than the competition. I own an A7iii and the fluid head worked great at first. I lent the tripod to a friend who uses a fully rigged A7 with monitor, cage, handle, microphone etc and ever since getting it back the head tilts down and never stays leveled. Although a problem I figured I was to blame for that as maybe the set up was too heavy. 🤷🏽♂️. However the tripod leg clip just broke while moving from one shot to the next really drove me crazy. I wasn't applying anything in excess of what I usually do nor was I even standing on it but the clip that holds one of the three legs in position just broke. Now I regret not going for a more expensive brand with better build quality.

love it
Love this monopod! Ive taken it on a snow climb hike to 8500 feet, zoos, museums, its light and strong. Replaced the head with a ball head

Better than the iFootage version
I bought the similar version by iFootage, costs more, hoping it would perform better, but it was flimsy. I decided to give Avella a try. I am glad I did. It's more studier, quality is as good if not better and it comes with the fluid head, plus it even costs less than the one by iFootage. Could have ordered this one from the beginning!

Avella CD325 Carbon Fiber Video Monopod
Well over all I liked it. I got it for ski videos. So very cold conditions. It worked pretty well. The little feet came in handy when I needed to put my hands in my pockets for something, telescoping was good too. Getting the cameras on and off very nice. The anti fall latch pin saved my. Smear twice from falling lens first into the snow! It’s much lighter than my manfroto tripod. Well my only problem was the horizontal pan. It just didn’t work. I tried warming it up, chilling it, working it back and forth. No luck. It’s almost like it requires a greased gasket in between the plate and the monopod base it was screwed to. I’ll work on it done more and maybe get it to work. It may require the bolt it screws to to lose a thread so it can spin freely. Thank you reading, I hope this helps others.
