Seems to have a few issues that may mean it's unsuitable for some purposes
I bought the camera to use while out cycling as the description states it is 'perfect for anyone who wants to capture great quality images whilst on the move'. I believe the image quality in good light would be suitable for showing a sequence of events (like a car pulling out in front of you), but if someone disputed it was them (like stated it was not their car and you needed to prove it was them via their vehicle's registration mark), then unless they are very close to you, the video quality would, in my humble opinion, NOT be good enough. When speed is a factor, even at just 15mph on a bike, the video quality, again in my opinion, is NOT suitable at anything except the closest distance ... for example, if you glanced over at a parked car, at 15mph the registration number would not be captured unless you were within inches of the car. My advice would be for evidential purposes to get a decent quality 1080p camera as it will have a much better chance of recording details this camera will miss. I will return this camera as the description implied a level of quality that I believe the device does not deliver and buy a better one.The other barely documented 'feature' that I think is very bad is it switching itself off after a time - this has been noted by some other reviewers so it doesn't seem to be an issue with just my camera. The manual seems to say the camera does this as it's not being used, but how can it know this? The documentation doesn't state an answer to that. How can the user disable that 'feature'? Again, no answers in the documentation. The reason I want to disable it is because the camera decided by itself to turn off several times while I was recording with it. I think that's really bad as what if it decides to turn off at a crucial moment, such as a car pulling out in front of me leaving me without footage of the event? And why would it do that anyways as I was cycling along, i.e. I was using it!? The camera just seems to decide totally for itself that it's not being used and switches off - NOTE: I double checked each time this happened and there were ample amounts of battery life and recording space, so those were not factors.Sorry to leave such a bad review, but I feel let down, though for the price, maybe I expected too much...

Impressive video quality given price and size of device
The media could not be loaded. Bought this following a headline I saw about body cameras being used in classrooms to improve behaviour management. Really impressed with both the build quality of the product and the quality of the videos taken. With this device, I bought a 32GB card which works fine with the device - even though the manufacturer seems to suggest that the maximum capacity was 8GB. The user guide that came with the device also seems to suggest that it is not possible to change the time and date displayed on the video recording. The software disk that was packaged with the device did in fact have a piece of script that did allow the time stamp to be updated - which is kind of an important feature for sharing videos made with the device as a professional development tool. I did want to try to post a video to show how fantastic the footage is but for some reason the video feature on this website is not the best but am sure others who are interested in the product will be able to find sample footage.

Veho VCC-003-MUVI-BLK MUVI Micro Digital... does more than it says on the tin.....
As new this item seems OK. Contrary to the stated limitation it can take more than an 8GB Micro SD card, I'm not sure why they state that. I put in a 32GB card and attached it to my computer for power and it recorded until I stopped recording 11 - 12 hrs later using about 16GB of the card. The video is 640X480 and sound is good, so not an HD cam but I purchased this for a body cam when at work in houses for personal security and video evidence if ever needed. Standalone I guess the battery is limited, but who's to say you can't attach it to a power pack and record for extended battery power!. It is a daytime cam so low light indoors not the best, normally lit rooms seem OK. I've not yet found a chest strap specifically for it, but the clip may be a way to clip it on to one, I've yet to try. So it does more than it says on the tin and I'm happy with it for its intended usage.

Used whilst dog walking.
Great piece of equipment. Simple to use. I wanted an inexpensive discreet camera for when I'm walking the dog along country lanes as there are some idiot drivers out there! It has a simple integrated clip which attaches to my clothes. It took a couple of test runs to identify the best position to capture oncoming vehicle details. I place it just above waist height which catches reg numbers, in case needed. The camera has been dropped and been in the rain and still works.

Safety on the road whilst cycling
At first the recordings weren't working but after contacting Veho. I found out that you should not have the vox switched on. After just having the camera switched on and in record footage all been fine. At the moment attached to the pocket on my jacket but looking for someway to attach to the bike. Attached pic taken from my computer. I haven't tried with a power bank as I only cycle for around an hour. Picture quality depends on weather, if too sunny can be a problem. Just to give me some peace of mind. I can't seem to find the download to change the date, I need to look into that

Unexceptional
But still worth considering because it's so small, hardly anyone would notice this Veho Muvi Micro Camcorder clipped to one's shirt.I gave 4 stars because since 2012, these miniature camcorders' image quality have vastly improved. Still, it saved our rare cruise up Venice's Grand Canal at the time when cruise ships were allowed. It recorded well, even during the early misty morning and it is still worth considering even 10 years later!
