Creativ Company 23724 10-Piece Passepartout Card, Off-White

I am puzzled by reviews complaining these cards are not threefold. They are not, but a separate piece of card is provided for each card to back your work. I use them for embroidered greetings cards, and they give the work a lovely finish.

I bought these for creating cards that have pressed flowers on display through the aperture. It did not occur to me that a card with an aperture would not have a third fold to attach the flowers to, and still allow something to be written inside the card but not viewed from the front. Without that third fold, the aperture shows whatever is inside the card, which is usually writing, and which you wouldn't want to see. I can't think what these cards would be used for without that third fold. The cards were a good price and good quality, although the top one was damaged in this pack of 10.Given that the tricky part of making a homemade card with aperture would be the cutting out of the aperture, it was worth buying these cards for me, because I can just stick an extra piece of card behind the aperture with my pressed flowers on.I am only reviewing in case others, like me, make the assumption that there is a third fold. Although the product does not claim to have one, I just can't see what purpose these cards serve without it, hence 3 stars.

This is just one piece of card folded in two. I cannot use these as the recipient will see the back of my sewing inserted in the aperture. What a waste of £5. Of course you have to rip open the plastic to check what is inside. Cannot send it back now.
