Highly recommended
The cover says "complete" even though the Grande Polonaise Brillante op. 22 (for which Chopin wrote a solo-version) is not included.I had other Alfred Masterwork Editions of Chopin, and the editor usually tries to respect Chopin's intentions. The cover says the editor consulted "original sources" to create the edition, but the book never goes into detail what sources were used. The book gives some directions for executing ornaments in the style that Chopin supposedly did, but I don't think they're always right. (Even so, wrong directions are usually better than no directions at all.)The book has a comb spine which is nice; just be sure not to smash it.The notation is large, with decent breaks where pages are turned. The fingering is excessive and sometimes downright idiotic.I found one mistake on page 107: a treble clef is missing.

Terrific flat-laying edition.
Beautiful score and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the comb binding! I'm just puzzled because there are some differences between this and the Paderewski edition. I wish there were a Polish National Edition (by Ekier) for the polonaises! It's hard to know which markings are more authoritative. I know Chopin had many different "authentic" versions of his pieces floating all over Europe during this lifetime because he made so many changes in different editions, himself. But a terrific edition and very user-friendly because of how it lies on the piano.

Great but Disappointed...
Even though it says "complete" it does not have some of the polonaises like "Andante Spianato and Grand Polonaise op 22." I wish that the seller would show the page of content in the details and pictures.I was very disappointed but it still some good ones in it. The comb bound is very useful.

Fabulous Publisher
Everything I have purchased from this publisher has been of superb quality. I only wish they would publish works of other classical composers as well. Right now, it seems they have a very limited set. Hoping that by receiving great feedback they will expand.
