Good product! Buy.
This is a good Dell product - at first glance (used over one day). Fully charged battery lasted me 7 hours of work including one ppt preparation, continuous music and heavy internet browsing. Giving 4 stars for VFM as cost is a little high BUT I may be proven wrong if battery lasts for more than 3 years. Old battery (supposedly original) lasted me 2.5 years and cost me Rs. 2,800 however it failed suddenly, leaving me high and dry!! Hope this one functions better. Worth a buy.

Providing back up for about one hour if you work continuously. Fits perfectly. Easy installation, value for money, Good quality, company packet, without any damage.

No warranty
Poor battery backup. Within six months battery stopped holding charge. The seller's bill has no data about battery to check warranty on Dell website. Dell doesn't honor this warranty since this is third party seller.

Seems to be an original and genuine Dell Battery
Got the battery on 17th July 2023. Been using it for the last 10 days only. I am very happy with the product so far. It was packaged in an original Dell box and had original Dell labels with Part Number and other details clearly mentioned. Charges well. Depending on usage it lasts me a full day and more with full brightness. Of course in between usage, I do shut the cover to save on battery. I'm happy with the product so far. Although it seemed a bit overpriced at Rs.2999/- Batteries for the same model of Dell are available on Amazon itself for almost half the price. I went in for this one as it had "Dell Original Battery" in the Ads. I hope paying extra will pay off in the long run.

It worked
Received next day of ordering. It looks like original and it worked on Dell Inspiron 5558. Still in the initial days so backup will be less. After few days of usage, I hope backup will improve. But quite expensive.

Good Backup
It gets charged upto 99% only. But it gives a good backup around 3 to 4 hours.
