Fit & Fresh Jaxx Stainless Steel Shaker Bottle,with Patented Jaxx Agitator for Smooth Protein Shakes, 24-Ounces

I was reluctant to purchase this shaker because of the reviews saying it leaks. But I wanted a stainless steel drinking shaker with an agitator and this is one of only a few on Amazon. I've had mine for a couple of weeks now, with daily use and cleaning, including several trips through the dishwasher. I haven't had any problems with leaking at all. I think you just need to make sure you screw the cap on tight enough. I screw it tight and no amount of shaking can make it leak. The hinged cap thing is really sturdy—seems like it will stand up to years of use. It's hard to get it to snap shut sometimes. I'm sure that will get easier with time. The shaker seems well made and sturdy overall. When I have cold water with ice in it, the metal is almost too cold to touch, but once I start to heat up while exercising that's actually not a bad thing. While carrying, you can hold it by the plastic loop so your hands don't get cold. That loop is a nice touch. The 24 oz size is pretty good, but I wouldn't mind if they had a 28 oz size. I'm very satisfied, overall.

I received my item, but the agitator was not included. Love the cup, but the agitator is an important feature for properly mixing my protein shakes. Rather disappointing.

I am so happy that I bought this shaker. It looks great. I got it today and tried it immediately, it worked very well. So far I could not think of anything bad about this bottle. Maybe I should try to shake some warm water with it to see how it works. I have had a GNC's stainless shaker bottle. Avoid any bottle looks like GNC's Stainless shaker bottle. It leaks and the lid is very hard to clean. A lot of companies have the same kind of bottles as GNS's. They probably ordered the bottles from a same factory. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a shaker bottle to get one from Fit and Fresh. I have another one which is plastic and works very well too. I would be happy if you bought this bottle and satisfied yourself because of my review. Anything bad about it happens in the future, I will revise this comment.

Build quality is good. Lid has a positive latching lock. O-ring flat washer seal is garbage. Cannot get lid to seal properly. Rendors cup useless as it leaks.

Working well for me. I gave it a 4 star because I like the stainless steel instead of plastic. I'm finding that after I shake up my drink and take the lid off to make sure it's all mixed, I have to rinse the lid off and the rim, and take off the plastic holder piece because my drink has oozed all over the edge. If I don't do this, then when I put the top back on, the shake will drip down the container and of course get on my clothes. So, I shake it really well, take off the lid, scoop the powder from the lid and put it in the cup. Then I rinse lid completely, and wipe the rim on the outside of the cup and put the lid back on. This last step of course is when I'm not intending to remove the lid again until I'm done drinking. I like the cup though, stays cold but the design could be tweaked!

***UPDATE*** first week of using this shaker was great. No smell, easy to clean, all was good. Then I put it in my dishwasher.... HUGE mistake. Now the lid dribbles more than a basketball player. No, it doesn't dribble, it actually leaks horribly. Looking at it closely, it looks like the threads no longer match up from the shaker to the lid. It almost looks cross threaded, no matter what I do. Nothing like going to work with smelly protein shake all over you from a leaky shaker. Maybe it isn't meant to go in the dishwasher, who knows. Either way, I have down graded my rating and can not recommend this product, which sucks. Until it started to leak, it was my favorite shaker. I got tired of the smelly plastic shakers, so I decided to try a metal one. I've only been using this for 1 day, so here are my initial impressions: The strange jack mixing thingy works well. I've had no clumps so far. When I first picked it up, I was concerned it was going to be really loud with the metal body, but surprisingly, it wasn't with liquid inside. The metal walls are pretty thin. I can see them getting dented over time. There is no insulation, so I don't think it will keep cold drinks cold very long, plus it is cold to hold the bottle if you use ice. I'd be afraid to put any hot liquid in here. There aren't any measuring marks inside or outside to tell how much water you have in the container, you just have to guess. This could be problematic for some people. The loop on the top is a positive. Everyone might not need it, but I use the loop to clip the bottle to my lunch bag and almost a necessity for me to have a way to do that. I will update my review after use for a week to comment on the smell or lack thereof.

This is the second bottle I have bought. Other bottles don't last me that long and this one last me about six months (until I dropped it). The wide mouth is a nice touch and it always stays sealed. I've never had an issue with it leaking anywhere either. The jaxx blender works good as well. P. S. It is not insulated so it does get hot if hot liquid is on it.

I bought 1 for myself and 2 for my son who is a daily user and complained about plastic shaker cups stinking after only a few uses with protein shakes. We both lover these they mix well and after a couple of months there is still no smell to them. We have not had any trouble with the lids being too tight like some people have but I know some have stronger grip than others. They do fit snugly but I would rather that than that they leak. Over all I recommend these for anyone that uses powdered mixes regularly.

Bought this as I prefer unique edgy design, the quality is stainless steel so your cold protein drinks are going to stay cold, how awesome is that! The "X" mixer is so amazing, as I used to own a blender bottle, the steel mixers get caught in my washing machine or it destroys my spunge when I clean it. But this "X" just rinse it and wipe, done. The bottle itself has a perfect size, wide enough to fit in my car's cupholder, and it comes with a plastip strap to hold easily, it has rubber seals wherever there is an opening so you won't get ANY leaks at all. I believe in paying a premium for a quality product as long as the value is there, believe me if you want an one of a kind bottle with a quality design, edgy look and love to have icy cold drinks (not sure who drinks warm/hot protein shakes), don't wait and BUY NOW!

Somewhat satisfied with this.. . No matter how hard I tighten the lid it continues to leak. It's ok when I'm drinking water... but I constantly have to be aware of the leak if I'm drinking something else. Only able to use this at the gym... definitely not in the truck... unless you are only drinking water and don't mind getting wet. I would give it one star... but... It looks nice... So I'm giving it 2.

Good quality plastics, no welding defects on the vessel. Well made at a great price. Some inconsistencies on the surface finish; very easy to ignore at the price point. This was recommended to me by a friend, and I will recommend to others.
