Will this work on Kubota ZG227 gasoline engine?

Can't say for sure. I used it on my ZD 21 Kubota diesel mower and it worked fine. Before I bought it I made sure it showed my ZD 21 and I also looked up my mowers part number to cross reference withthis one. Best way to know is to make sure your part number matches not just the model number. Otherwise you can get the wrong part. I did the model on buying a belt instead of part number andgot the wrong belt.
