Leak Proof Dishwasher Safe Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug, 16 oz (Black)

I started drinking tea recently. This is the first travel mug I've ever bought and I'm so impressed that I can't imagine ever trying another.Drinks stay hot for hours. The matte black finish looks sleek, and it feels soft and smooth while providing a good grip. Measurement lines on the inside allow me to add the same combination of hot and cold liquids with every fill. The 16 ounce size has turned out to be perfect to use with one tea bag (it's a couple ounces bigger than the ceramic mug I was using but isn't so much that the tea tastes diluted). The lid is definitely leak-proof. I shake my tea to mix in milk and nothing drips out even if I hold it upside down or sideways. A slip-resistant pad on the bottom protects my furniture and keeps the mug stable. The spout allows a good flow of water for sipping hot liquid (I'm not sure if it'd be good for chugging cold beverages as I haven't tried any iced drinks yet). I was worried that the flip top might flop down and hit my nose while I was drinking the last bits of tea, but it actually snaps securely into the lid and doesn't move. I put the mug through the dishwasher once before using it for the first time with no issues, and the simple design has made it easy and quick to hand wash every night.I spent several hours researching various thermoses and travel mugs before picking this one based on the reviews and lifetime guarantee. I'm really happy with my purchase and would immediately buy another one if I lost it.

The whole purpose of this mug is to keep hot drinks hot as long as possible. It miserably fails to fulfill that purpose. It has no vacuum sealing I believe. The mug's outside shell wouldn't get hot as soon as you pour hot drink if there were vacuum sealing. I also own a similarly priced thermos mug which does not look as good as this one but it always can keep the heat inside and outside shell never gets hot. Yes, the mug is pretty but it fails to serve the main purpose.

This is a great travel mug. It is nice looking, doesn't leak and keeps your drink warm. I like the new black matte exterior; it is easy to hold and does not show dirt easily. Despite the name, I use mine for hot tea. I can make my hot tea, put it in this mug and not worry about it spilling in the side pocket of my backpack. I have also used it for cold drinks.

Purchased over 5 different types of coffee tumblers, returning all before this one. I was looking for something that was decent looking, simple to clean, leak-proof, would fit under a Keurig, and was easy to grip. If that's what you are looking for, you'll be please with this. Two factors that prevented the five star rating; it takes a bit of energy to click the lid down (but gets easier with use), and when you drink from the tumbler a small amount of liquid will collect at the opening of the lid. That's not a deal-breaker for me. It's dishwasher safe, although I hand wash it. The seller is very accommodating with any questions or glitches. I choose the black one and am pleased with it so far.

For the record, I was initially thrilled with this mug; I drink a lot of coffee, and as other reviews had stated, it's a good size, and the insulation keeps things hot far longer than most travel mugs that I'd purchased in the past. However, less than a year after purchase, the lid will no longer seal. When attempting to seal it, it continually runs off of the thread, creating an infinite loop of twisting the lid, with no end result - or worse, in one instance, a false sense of security that resulted in me wearing my coffee. Unfortunately, this negates the spill-proof factor, and renders the cup useless in that regard. I'll keep an eye out for updates and upgrades, but would not purchase this particular one again.

This keeps coffee hotit looks niceeasy to holdBut the LID!!! OMG we use it at home with out the lid,not sure if there arent enough threads or we stripped the plastic lid, but the lid doesnt work for us at all. It could have been our error trying to screw it on tighter, but because of the lid i give 2 stars....Its a bummer too we loved everything else about it.Back to hunt for one that works better....:(

My wife and I love these mugs! They're a great size (fit in Keurigs, etc.), feel good in the hand, seal tightly even when bounced around, keep coffee properly hot for a long time, and eliminate the need for stirrers (just shake)*. And the nice color and finish and dishwasher safe aspect are extra bonuses!*To avoid getting steam-pressure-splashed, like with any good mug, leave it open for 10 seconds before closing the lid and shaking.

Bought for my wife a couple of weeks ago due to several features: dishwasher safe; easy to clean; leak proof; style. Her prior brand X mug started leading after a few months. So far, this one is working well. The design of the lid looks like it will continue to be leak proof for a long time.I did not rate durability because we have not had it long enough.
