how much electricity does it use??

Car Capsule makes one for outside - I don’t believe you can use this one. Check their web site.

Would it be better to put a dehumidifier in it too restrict mold?

I had tons of water and mold in the outside model in only a few wonths. The inside might be OK, especially if you live somewhere dry. I'd definitely keep an eye on things if you live in a humid area, irreversible damage was done to my car in just 2 months, corrosion, rust and mold.

I just bought this it has not arrived yet, my question is: Does this prevent Mouse and rodent intrusion? has anyone had an issues with rodents?

We bought this to keep out mice also, which had previously destroyed the wiring. It did prevent any intrusions of mice and also no dust. The little fan keeps the car capsule blown up continuously. We had it on for 6 months. We are very please with this product.
