I have long hair and lap swim almost every day. This conditioner is great for swimmers and is the only conditioner that I use. The Malibu C Swimmers Wellness Shampoo is also exellent for swimmers. No one would ever know that I swim in a chlorinated pool almost every day. I recommend both the shampoo and conditioner- even for non-swimmers. It's not heavy on my hair at all. My hair always feels very soft and is shiny, detangles easily and does not look damaged. It smells really good to me. But scent is not over powering and has a very light scent when hair dries out. I also like the large container size, without all the fancy packaging. I use this for refilling my swim bag/travel containers. So fancy is not needed. I kept the very pretty 1 liter size Malibu C Swimmers Wellness bottles from previous orders to refill and use in my home showers. The larger, plain design container size is better for the environment, because I only use it to refill other bottles anyway. This option creates less packaging waste that gets thrown into landfills or needs to be taken to recycling centers for processing. (Do note: It just has a screw top lid. There is no pump on top as shown in packaging.)

I lap swim 3-4 times a week and constant exposure to chlorine wrecked my hair last year. After tons of research I figured I had nothing left to lose except more flat dry hair. It’s more Expensive compared to regular conditioner but it works!!! Nothing else restores and keeps my hair soft. It’s safe on my color and actually work on type 4 (other conditioners haven’t).

My wife uses this religiously. She really likes the way her hair feels, it has great body and feels soft. I love it too😉. Great value for the money and when she’s happy, I’m happy. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant and the product seems to go a long way. Will continue to buy this.

I've only tried a couple swimmers products, this seems to be pretty good in helping hair feel softer after the pool. However the packaging was ridiculous, you used a large box and used zero stuffing. The small bottle's lid was completely off and all the product spilled all over the box. Why wouldn't you do something as basic as stuff the empty space of the box to eleventh damage? And also tape the cover down. This is beyond basic for shipments.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel like I need to warn people about this conditioner. I bought the Malibu C Swimmers shampoo and conditioner set, but I’m only reviewing the conditioner here because it was one of the worst hair products I’ve ever used. I have waist-length, wavy hair, and this conditioner completely wrecked it. From the very first use, my hair was a disaster. Instead of making it soft or manageable, it turned my hair into a tangled nightmare. It honestly felt like trying to brush through rubber bands — impossible, painful, and damaging. The more I brushed, the worse it got, like the tangles were multiplying with every stroke. I could literally hear and feel my hair snapping off. At first, I thought maybe it was just me, or maybe I hadn’t given it a fair shot. So I kept using it. Over and over. I went through the entire bottle thinking maybe it needed time to “build up” or work with consistent use. It never did. Every single use ended the same way: brittle, tangled, breaking hair that left me frustrated and upset. I’ve used plenty of hair products in my life, and I’ve never had an experience this bad. What makes it worse is that this product is supposed to be for swimmers. It’s advertised to help with chlorine and dryness, but instead it left my hair feeling like a brittle, tangled mess that took forever to detangle. It did nothing it promised and only caused damage. I don’t know how this product has so many positive reviews, but for me, it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. If you value your hair, stay far, far away from this conditioner. This bottle doesn’t belong in your shower — it belongs straight in the trash.

I’m a senior, swim 8-10 K per week and have thin, baby fine hair. I had hopes for this product and it’s claims, but am finding it’s no better - or no worse - than an expensive name brand. I wouldn’t go out of my way to order it again. Though - I very much like the aroma.....
