Mueller LifeCare Knee Support Taupe - Medium

Bought this knee sleeve because my neoprene sleeve did not breathe and really hot and uncomfortable to wear when hot. This has boning on the sides for stability, support under your knee cap and compression to support your knee. It has a rubberized trim on top and bottom so it stays in place. Comfortable and breathes. Not for patella problem.

I have arthritis in my knees. My right knee is "bone to bone" on the outside part of the knee, "not great" cartilage at the knee cap, but descent cartilage on the inner (weight bearing) part of the knee. This support has enabled me to keep hiking and bicycling. I recently did a 7.5 hour hike up/down Mt Lafayette in the White Mountains using the support (hiking poles really help too!!). The support keeps my knee in place and I wear it all the time. My knee sometimes "gives out" if I don't wear it.I am not letting arthritis slow me down! I am glad the knee support comes in taupe color. It also comes in a berry/pink color but that often "clashes" with other colors I am wearing. I have tried other knee supports, but always come back to this particular one.

These are only for compression. No latex, no, neoprene. I am highly allergic to both those things. This is a light support and keeps the swelling down.

Does it's job well

The product shipped promptly and was what I expected. It provides some support for my knees for daily activities where I will be walking a few blocks or more, and for exercising.

Lateral and collateral knee ligaments are supported with this Mueller knee support. Golfers can benefit from its use. During the golf swing both torque and weight shift from one leg to the other creates certain amounts of stress to the knee joints, this support stabilizes the knee area without being too stiff or un-flexible. The flexible lateral ligament springs do a good job of maintaining stability during torque and the gel pad just below the knee helps stabilize the overall collateral movement by applying firm pressure to the knee joint proper. The firm compression of the sleeve also helps with the overall stabilizing effects. The visual looks of the Taupe color is pleasing as well. I can now by using the Mueller , go back to full power golf swings with little and or no discomfort and the reduction of that feeling of the knee being unstable allows more confidence during everyday movements. Make sure to correctly measure the knee for proper fit, if you have large thighs and large calves you might consider the next size up. My knee size is 16" and my legs are average build so the medium size works great for me. Glad I purchased these, for each knee.

I have problems with arthritis in my knees and these help me so much. Eases the pain so I can continue doing my three mile walk each day. I ordered one and liked it so much I ordered a second one. Very comfortable and has a good fit.
