EXTEND THE HARNESS FIRST!!
I found out the hard way that the harness that goes to the drivers/left side doesn't reach to plug in AFTER I fished it to the other side and installed it! So extended the harness BEFORE installing it.

Gas gauge off fuel leaking
I used this fuel pump in my car now my car doesn’t know how much gas is in it I filled it up today until I couldn’t pump any more but says I have a half tank now UPDATE my car is now leaking gas in my back seat after less than a week

Got my sending unit yesterday installed it like the other reviews were saying you need to rewire the connecting harness to the primary unit because it's too short and you need to take off the ties for the fuel transfer tubes if not the bigger tube won't reach other than that everything works fine now let's just see how long it lasts.......updating on same review, the contract for the gas gauge is a little off so it's not making enough contact. if it is on yours then you have to try and bend it back down but because because they're really flimsy but i got my gauge to work so I'm also changing my stars because of this and the tubes and wire harness coming up short.
