Tom Kelley's Studio Hardcover – December 1, 2014

Jeez. Tom Kelley. Another guy who made a career out of photographing some of the most astonishingly beautiful women on earth - naked. How do you land these kind of jobs? Although he kept working through the porn-heavy 1970's, Kelley never changed his style. By today's standards, every shot here is tastefully done and gorgeously designed. If you love early Playboy and the voluptuous cheesecake of the 50's, this one's a real treat.

Absolutely gorgeous and superbly printed book - buy it, you will have NO regrets here. The photography style is legendary, and this one goes a long way to showing off the very best of Tom's work and does so with a book that's huge, heavy, the paper and photo reproduction is top drawer. This is the kind of book that's going to go up in value once it's out of print, so don't wait and pay a fortune after it's on the secondary market. Highly recommend this one.

There are some very creative pictures in this book. Pictures without using post processing so a little crude by today's standards. This is more of a historical view of posed photography than a book of 'wow' photographs. It is of one man's vision, and that makes it a bit limited in vision.

Beautiful photography. Clearly 50's era glamour and models. Tastefully erotic but not pornographic. The famous "red velvet series" featuring Marilyn Monroe is included, along with many many others. I'm a Marilyn collector, and it's a prize for me. The other pictures are bonus additions to my collections.

Spectacular nudes from a real legend. Many are in full color and look beautiful. If the cover doesn't make you want to buy this book, nothing will. Too many nude photography books are too "artsy" or boring. There's nothing vulgar in here, only high quality photos. A coffee table worth buying.
