This is a classic sterling silver hamsa talisman bracelet. The Hamsa (Arabic: Khamsah (?????? ); Hebrew: khamsah (?????????),) is a palm-shaped amulet popular throughout the Middle East and North Africa, and commonly used in jewelry and wall hangings. According to various local superstitions, the hamsa,  which depicts the open right hand, is believed to provide defense against the 'evil eye curse:'  a result of being  watched by others in envy, disgust, or malevolent disapproval. It has been theorized that its origins lie in Carthage (modern-day Tunisia) and may have been associated with the pagan goddess Tanit. This 925 Sterling Silver bracelet  is 7.5 inch long, with each of the eleven hamsa hands containing a navy blue glass evil eye, also superstitiously believed to protect the wearer from the evil eye curse. Beautiful on an any skin tone, this item is truly a tasteful and culturally rich gift! This bracelet is perfect for a youthful summery mediterreanean beach look, for a hopeful recent graduate, as an exciting and lively birthday present, or for a special person in your life who might appreciate the simple tasteful charm of the classic hamsa bracelet.

Although the bracelet is very pretty, It is very light and feels flimsy
Although the bracelet is very pretty, It is very light and feels flimsy. It has sharp edges in certain areas of the silver, as well, which scratch and poke. It also already broke once just from wearing it the last 4 days, I was able to fix the link, but surely it will happen again... I wanted to love the bracelet but it fell quite short of my expectations. Very disappointed.
