Nice skimmers. Well made, but not extreme heavy duty. Sturdy if cared for and not abused.

These strainers do work great for getting the scum off of soup as it's cooking, but I have also used them for straining out tea leaves and coffee grounds as well as the milk fat from melted butter when making clarified butter. I recently bought some whole grain flour and needed to sift out the bran in order to have all purpose flour and regular sifters are not fine enough mesh to do it so I used the large strainer spoon and it worked great as a do-fer until I can find a larger option. These strainer spoons are sturdy, well made and clean up easily.

These are well made stainless steel. Feel sturdy and works well to skim stews and poached meats. I often boil meat for my dogs and this takes the scum off the top of the water better than anything else I’ve tried. Glad it comes with 3 sizes, I cook a lot and can see this will be useful for soups and stews too.

Works great but I only use the small one, solid, skims foam but also oil and fat, far far better than using a regular spoon

Works. Skimmers are hard to clean, but I don't think it matters to what bran you purchase. It is ok for the cost.

Saw version of this on TV by another promotional company and went to Amazon. Found this product with three sizes. Bought to skim top of pot when cooking foods that tend to foam or strain when needed. The large one is PERFECT for straining water from tuna cans and not losing tuna like usually happens then using can lid. Recommend this HIGHLY!! Economical, shipped and delivered as promised. Will look at this for gifts in future.
