When my son outgrew his Britax infant seat I did hours of research and finally settled on the Graco Extend2fit based on its great reviews and moderate price. I absolutely hated it, and my son would scream the entire time he was strapped in it. I could never seem to get a good fit in either the seat itself or for my 1 year-old, 22 lb son. Next I tried the Britax Boulevard ClickTight with ARB. I have always exclusively used Britax car seats with my other children and had high hopes for this one. My car has second row bucket seats and this particular seat is HUGE! Once again, I could not get this seat to fit appropriately and unfortunately had to return it. I continued my search and for some reason this Chicco seat doesn’t come up on many “safest or best convertible car seat” lists but does get great reviews on Consumer Reports so I decided to give it a try. I could tell at once this seat would be different-it just looked super comfortable and my son did not fuss or cry when I put him in to try it. I then went to install it and this was the only seat I could install by myself and let me tell you it is rock solid—the installation of this car seat is amazingly simple and it really does take a quick pull of each latch strap. I did have to use a foam child seat positioner to get adequate recline, but the fit is perfect now!! Fits great in my bucket seats and my son loves it!!! Also seems to be one of the safest so I could not be more pleased with this purchase!!! Thank-you Chicco and Amazon!!

Super easy to install (in 2021 RAV4)! The latch system is exponentially easier than Graco. The sides are quite high which makes it a little difficult to put the child in if your short, but it seems much more safe, sturdy, and let’s not forget about easy to clean! Doesn’t leave bruises like our old Graco E2F! The belts glide so easily when tightening everything. This is a miracle seat, I swear! It also has a little compartment in the back to store the user manual. That’s so nice! I can’t recommend this enough!

The Cadillac of car seats. Yes, this car seat is a bit more pricey, but hear me out. We initially bought this when my son turned a year old. Absolutely loved everything about it he sat comfortably in it, super easy and roomy while he was still rear facing and it’s SO EASY TO CLEAN!!!! You just unzip the cover and it pops right out.. no need to fiddle with annoying straps and trying to remember how things went back together. That had me sold until recently. We were in a really bad car accident, on the side that my son was on. Someone pulled out in front of us and we hit them. Our car was totaled but my son was perfectly safe and completely unharmed. I will be purchasing this car seat for all the future babies I have and will recommend it to anyone and everyone. Make the purchase, you won’t regret it! I cannot recommend this car seat enough! Remember, you get what you pay for. A $99 car seat sounds great, but I doubt it would have held up as good as this one did in our accident. I didn’t hesitate to purchase another one after the accident to replace the old one... seriously the best of the best right here!!

So honestly I haven’t used this yet, but I read through the manual and have gone through and checked out the Carseat and all it’s parts. It’s soft, sturdy and seems comfortable. It appears to be safe and I know it will be easy to install. I was using a Chicco Keyfit30 infant Carseat and loved it! But my child has graduated. I tried buying a different brand and ended up returning it when I was able to snag this NEXTFIT on sale for 199 which is way better than 319. It’s a shame car seats cost so much when you are working with a tight budget. But it’s worth it for peace of mind and should last many years. If you’re stuck trying to decide what car seat I would recommend this one. I’m very happy with this purchase!

Bought the carseat for my grandbaby to use when he is with me. Easy to install and adjust the straps to his height. First time using the seat he got car sick. I was able to take the cover off and wash it. Straps wiped clean pretty easy. I was able to get it back together without any problems. Being able to keep the seat clean was the selling point and the safety ratings on CR. The seat is a little on the heavy side but manageable. I haven't used the seat forward facing yet but I am sure I will still love the seat.

As a first time mom, I spent a good amount of time researching car seats in hopes of finding the perfect one for us. This one comes close to being perfect but has a few drawbacks in my opinion. (Mainly ease of use issues). 1. No slot on side of seat for metal harness clips to be stored. Every time I go to put our 10 month old daughter in her seat she sits directly on the harness straps and metal clips. Then it’s a game of tug and war to get them out from under her. Not to mention we live in AZ where, in the summer, those metal clips can get scorching hot. 2. Now, this one may be specific to the build of my car but this car seat sits pretty high up. I have a 2013 Ford Taurus and after my husband first installed the seat I noticed that the space to get our daughter inside of it was extremely limited. Every time I put her in now, I have to do it at an almost horizontal angle as to not hit her head on the top of the door opening. But like I said, this is probably more specific to smaller cars or sedans and I don’t think would be an issue for larger trucks or SUVs. (We have used the seat in our friends’ GMC Denali truck with zero issues). 3. The clip-on drink holder pops off pretty easily. This is not really a deal breaker for us but just something to note. With all things considered, we will be keeping this car seat- mainly for it’s safety features. This seat is extremely highly rated in consumer reports which is always reassuring. Also, we have taken our daughter on her first road trip in it and she seemed to be very comfortable which is a plus. Zip off and wash cover is also a great feature.

I really love this car seat by Chicco! I had the mini bravo travel system and loved how well-made Chicco products are, so naturally when my baby needed to transition from the infant car seat to a toddler seat I was looking at Chicco brand! I had actually tried another cheaper brand looking for a second toddler seat for our other vehicle, but it just didn’t have that same feel and didn’t fit my son as well. He loves this seat and seems more content than in the infant seat. Nicely padded as well! Granted, this seat seams very heavy and bulky but I know it’s built to be protective so I can handle the bulky/heavy part! Highly recommend if you’re not sure whether to get or not! **Also just a note…if you have a smaller compact style car this may not work as well in the rear-facing position. I have a ford fusion and it was rough to get it to fit rear-facing. Perfect forward-facing though.
