I've used this type of lock for many years now. They are great for unmonitored applications like storage units and very difficult to cut into due to the design. A regular padlock gives a would-be thief ample room to use bolt cutters. This design here would require at least a powered steel cutoff tool... very noisy and not worth their time. This lock from this vendor seems to be just as sturdy and efficient as others I've purchased in the past. Good price and fast delivery.

Works okay, three keys for mine, I would install this indoors though due to locking mechanism rather than exterior. Not an expensive lock but thick enough and heavy enough to do what is needed to secure a door.
