UFO Cow Abduction: Beam Up Your Bovine (With Light and Sound!) (RP Minis)

This cool UFO item really made my day when it arrived. I had pre-ordered it before it was actually published. It comes in a cleverly illustrated box that is quite appealing. There is also a fun little story book that comes with it, that provides the backstory as to why the aliens are compelled to abduct cows that features some great illustrations. But the best part, of course, is the UFO that actually does abduct the bovine that comes with it! It took me a few tries before I figured out how to activate the UFO and then proceed with the abduction business, but, hey, had I read the instructions first I could have done it the first try (i.e., READ the brief and easy to follow instructions for the best experience). The small mound of grass that comes with this is perfect to nestle your unwitting cow upon for the abduction to come! No spoiler alerts, but the sounds the UFO makes when you make a "successful" abduction are quite fun to hear. It also makes a different sound if your abduction attempt is a fail. And yeah, the UFO itself lights up with some cool blue lighting effects, and also has the "shaft" of light to beam upon your bovine as you try to kidnap it. Lastly, there is a clear plastic "cone" that the UFO can rest upon, appearing to "hover" over your bovine, and thus is perfect to keep it on display to intrigue your friends when they come to visit. I had only one small problem, and that was the unit just did not operate at first despite following directions...I quickly opened the unit and inspected the batteries, and saw there was a small bit of corrosion between the batteries (these are button-cell LR44s AKA AG13s). A quick wiping away of this and all worked fine (but this is why things don't often have the batteries installed, so I'd recommend that the batteries be kept separate from the unit to avoid this, esp. for long periods of storage). I've owned a shop in the past that carried light up items such as these and it's just not a good idea to have the batteries pre-installed b/c leakage issues over time. You should easily be able to find replacement batteries when needed at the dollar store places, just be sure to bring the old ones with you in case you aren't sure about which ones to buy at the store as many of these button cells can look alike to the untrained eye. Overall, this is a great gadget, perfect for oneself, and a great gift for anyone that is into this genre of product. Great design guys, you really made a cool total package here!

Love this!! We are having an Alien theme Halloween Party this year and I plan to put this on a "dirt cake". It is so stinking cute love the lights & sounds. Can't wait to use it.

This item is adorable ! So cute on my kitchen windowsill . I didn't realize this at first, but when the little magnet on the bottom of the spaceship catches the cow, the cow moos !! It lights up it makes silly UFO noises . It makes me happy . I definitely recommend it !

This is a silly gag gift and it’s exactly what it is—fun for a laugh. The light and sound effects are entertaining, and it’s a cute little novelty item. For about $7, it’s worth it if you’re looking for something goofy to give someone or just to have as a quirky desk toy. Don’t expect anything serious, but it’s a good little joke gift.

At the request of my wife and mother in law, I’m building an HO scale model railroad on a 4’x 8’ table for my father in law who is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. He misses a layout he used to have and remembers it fondly. The general thought is that by featuring things he remembers from his past on the layout, it’ll hopefully help his memory. But this feature? This is just for fun. My mother in law and I have a warped sense of humor and when I found this for the farm scene on the layout, everyone got a huge kick out of it. He LOVES it. He really enjoys pushing the button and showing it off to people. It never ceases to put a smile on his face and get him in a fit of the giggles. I’m seriously considering getting about a 12” pice of acrylic tubing to make the ship sit up a little taller so You can see the cow being abducted better. The sounds are the best feature. Just funny as can be. Best $12 I’ve ever spent!

I really liked this purchase, it’s entertaining and funny! The Saucer worked right out of the box with sound and lights after opening the canopy and pressing down on the alien’s head! And it does pickup the cow using a built in magnet when you remove the clear tube to expose the cow while swooping over it! The saucer is made out of plastic and metal, it’s well constructed and not cheaply made. I plan on using it as a display with my 3d printed glow in the dark saucer and my Dr . Who police box! It arrived in great condition on the 18th of March instead of the 20th. The delivery was quick! It arrived with the instructions and the book inside the box along with the Saucer , cow , clear tube for display and the fake grass mound! Nothing has been left out so you get what you pay for! The seller ad is exactly as pictured, you get what’s shown. I also liked that the Seller took the extra precaution of shipping the item in a bubble wrapped lined package envelope! I have no complaints whatsoever, I will probably buy from the seller again if I want to order one as a gift later on!

I recently bought the UFO Cow Abduction toy for my girlfriend who is absolutely obsessed with anything alien-related, and she loves it! This little gadget has been a big hit in our home. Ich habe das Ufo durch Zufall bei Amazon entdeckt und dachte mir, es müsste eigentlich für den Maßstab 1:87 geeignet sein. In der Tat, die mitgelieferte Kuh passt genau zu den Kühen, die ich auf meiner Modellbahn nutze, ich habe es für diese Rezension kurz zusammen gestellt. Es sieht dann wirklich so aus, als würde ein Traktorstrahl die Kuh erfassen und sie jeden Moment abheben lassen. Die magnetische Wirkung wird dann aber erst erzielt, wenn man mit dem Ufo näher an die Kuh gelangt, dazu gibt es hier ja schon Videos. Der Sound klingt hervorragend. Absolut tolles Gimmick, eine Bereicherung für die Modelleisenbahn, gerade für mich als Science-Fiction-Fan. Für den Preis sicherlich unschlagbar, daher 5 Sterne.
