Brielle Home Premium Heavy Velvet Quilt Set with Cotton Backing, Twin, Navy

Service was great, it got to me really quickly. Just a couple of days. Softness is unsurpassed. I mean I pet the darn thing! Not really, but you get the idea. It is really, truly as soft as a new born baby's skin. The color is gorgeous! Repeat, gorgeous. Multidimensional is not an exaggeration. If I had a jacket from this fabric! Hey, that's an idea.Two things that came up when I was deciding to buy was 1.) that the size runs small and 2) that it was heavy. I don't know what kind of mattress those individuals had, but my queen mattress is 16 inches and I ordered the large just to be safe. Now, I will have plenty of fabric for more pillow cases or what not, perhaps a jacket? It hangs over so far, that it touches the floor! If you order from Brielle, I'd say the size runs TRUE. About the weight, it's velvet. Nice thick, soft velvet at that. Of course it's heavy. That is where I come to my only problem and why it got 4 instead of 5 stars. I would have given it a 4 1/2 at least if that was possible. My problem is that there is little to no batting in the quilt. While the fabric is thick and heavy, the quilt is not really very thick. More like a heavy bedspread. I had to add a blanket for warmth. Something I would not have thought I would need. Otherwise, I could not be happier. I will enjoy this quilt for many years to come. Very, very well made. Worth every single penny!

First of all, let me just say this thing is gorgeous. The sea foam green really changes colors well with different light, and the velvet really gives it an amazing aesthetic, almost ocean-like. It fluctuates between green and bluish silver.Secondly, it's soooo comfy. It's amazingly comfy. I don't like thick, fluffy blankets. This thing is thin, but it's got a nice weight to it. Weighs a lot more than I expected. Comparable to a gravity blanket. It'll be great for layering when it gets cold. The cotton inner lining is cool to the touch and the cotton/velvet combo allows for breathability. And the top of the quilt is just so nice to lay on top of. My dog is definitely also a fan, which is extremely important. There are reviews claiming the king size was too small. I have a fairly tall queen size bed and the edges of the king quilt come about 4 or 5 inches off the floor. Unless you need the very well-sewn edges (see pics) to reach the floor on your king size bed, it's a good size for a king quilt, imo. Great piece of bedding for the price. Looking forward to winter with this bad boy.Edit: it's now been 8ish months and I'm still madly in love with this quilt. It's so pretty and it feels better and better with time. It's breathable...i can feel the air from the Dan move through it and my cotton sheets. It's held up fantastically in the washer and dryer. No fraying or broken stitches and little to no fading. It's been worth every penny. If you're on the fence for some reason, don't hold back, and thank me later.

I love this bedspread. It is well made from quality materials. It feels very soft, it's the perfect color, and it is exactly the weight I was looking for. It looks like it would cost much more than I paid for it.

I have been looking for a heavier weight, not thin quilt for a while. I am soooo happy I ordered this! It is amazingly soft, heavier weight and wonderful! My only complaint is the both the pillow shams ripped on the seams near the zippers when I tried to put my pillows inside, the opening seems a bit too small. I will easily be able to fix it but they probably should be a little larger. Overall beautiful and feels luxurious!

The Navy is a little more of a royal blue in bright, natural lighting, and appears more like a dark navy with soft, warm lighting. It is incredibly soft and feels really luxurious. I've washed it 3 or 4 times now and it's held up nicely, although there is one spot on the edge where the seam has come undone a bit, but it is secure and would be an easy fix for someone with a sewing machine. It's light enough for the hot Arizona summer, but requires an extra blanket on top or under it for the winter (I expected that and am happy to add a blanket under it to keep the beautiful velvet look). Considering the great price, I would definitely recommend!

We love our Brielle Premium Heavy Velvet Quilt Set. It is soft but substantial, luxurious, well-made and looks beautiful. We order it in khaki and the sheen and modern stitch makes it look expensive. A great bargain for a quality product. We will be ordering the euro shams soon. The only thing -- we feel it would fit our king bed better if it was a somewhat larger. Our bed is tall and the quilt barely meets the box springs on the sides and foot. We, however, account for that by pulling it down farther on the foot and the side that is most visible. A cal king may have worked best, but that size is not available. This has not changed our minds. It is a very nice set.

I ordered the king size for my full size bed. The reason I bought this size was to cover the box spring which would avoid using a bedskirt. the sides of the king size falls down to the floor which is not bad, I just tuck it under a bit. I think queen would've been perfect. The burgundy is a nice rich color, it works for Christmas decor. This quilt is soft, warm and comfortable. My cats are enjoying it too! I will need to wash it at a laudramat however due to the size. I am very happy with my purchase.

I love velvet anythjng, so I was excited to get this for my bed. It looks great, is soft & pretty sturdy! It's heavier than non-velvet bedspreads (it be expected) but it is not heavy for a "velvet" bedspread. I have used mine everyday since I purchased it & it still looks & feels great even subject to my heavy abuse. It washes great too & eventhough I'm not supposed to dry it in the dry I insist on doing it anyway on low heat. There might be a bit of shrinkage or puckering but truthfully I'm not sure & if there is, I guess I'm not bothered by it. I'm not going to line dry it "period", so I did risked using the dryer & looks fine to me! Hope you enjoy yours as much!😊

This is an awesome bedding set ! I had tried a few others but they just weren't right . This is made of a beautiful soft velvet feel fabric . I'll update again when I have washed it but don't for see any problems.I'm also waiting for the euro cushions to come back in stock to complete the look!Update, I ordered the queen shams to complete the look instead as I had firm queen cushions. So very happy with all the pieces! Now do I bite the bullet & order the drapes ??!!Update ! I have now washed & dried the set. I'm lucky to have machines that will take large loads as these are king size !! They look great, even better that when I received them. It took awhile for them to dry, due to the weight & size but I'm really happy with this set. We live in Canada so the nights can be quite cold, never mind chilly & this was a good weight & coziness ! The euro cushions also look good as support cushion for our backs if reading at night. :)) !!
