Great book very informative easy to reference

Maria did a fabulous job putting this information together. A beautiful full color layout sprinkled with lots of pictures and concise easy to read information. Plenty of basics on herbal use and preparation. The herbs are gather into seven different remedy gardens, usage for each herb, how to grow, and how they help. In this book simplicity, beauty and help are joined together!

There are many, many books on herbs and herbalism--I've read several dozen--and I rank Maria Noel Groves books among the very best. She is not stingy with her information, explains things clearly and simply, the book itself is beautiful and includes "cautions" in regard to every herb--something that not many herbalists do! To Maria Noel I give my deep thanks and appreciation for her knowledgeable and generous book. Absolutely recommended.

I love the author, she is so down to earth and full of useful techniques and information.However, there is a HUGE typo on page 62. It's massive. Should be ONE ounce of herb...not 7.You will burn out your Ninja motor if you use 7.

Cannot wait to delve deeper into the essence of this book. Maria Noel Groves is a gifted herbalist ~ I loved Body Into Balance enough I was sold on this book before even reading it. No disappointment here. When I start my herbal garden I will know exactly what to plant and why ~ as well as how to use it.

This is a beautiful book with gorgeous photos & succinct, but accurate & useful, information on herbs. I wish I had this book many years ago. Even if you have a huge library of books on herbs, you will want this one for quick reference & for gardening information.

This book is great for the self learner. It has the basics from planting seeds to using and storing the harvest. I have taken a herbal medicine class for 2 years and this helped on the planting side of things. I even incorporated the knowledge into the garden we just planted. Great format, instructions and words of wisdom!

This is a wonderfully informative and well-written book. A great resource for a new or experienced herbalists. Maria Noel Groves shares a wealth of information in both of her books.

Book is well laid out with beautiful pictures, Loads of recipes for tinctures and tea etc.,Easy to understand.

All you need to know, I highly recommend for anyone interested in the magical world of herbs 🌿
