This is an excellent bag, and for the price, it would be hard (impossible?) to beat it. If you look up the company, they are located in India. I'm a little weary about getting fine leather goods from South Asia, but this bag did not disappoint.When I received the bag, the leather was extremely stiff and dry, and also appeared lighter than the pictures. I conditioned it with an all purpose leather conditioner for a few days, and now the leather is much softer, more supple, and vibrant.The outside of the bag is as pictured: the front has a flap that extends slightly more than a third down the bag, and can be closed with two buckles. It is a little cumbersome that the buckles are "true" buckles and must be undone every time one wishes to get into the bag-- a magnetic closure would have been nice here. The back of the bag has a large zipper compartment, which is useful for carrying easily accessible odds and ends.The inside of the bag is lined with an olive green canvas and contains a number of compartments. The back and front insides both contain a large zipper compartment. The rest of the inside is divided into three compartments with two dividers. The front most compartment has leather detailing with space for an ID and some pens and pencils. The middle compartment is the largest and easily fits a 13" computer. (Apparently, earlier versions of the bag were smaller and a laptop wouldn't fit, but then the measurements were adjusted.) The rear-most compartment is smaller and has no additional detailing.The construction of the bag is beautiful in a minimalist, rugged sort of way. I had no problem with uneven stitching. A few of the rivets are slightly uneven but it doesn't detract from the bag at all, and actually adds to its handmade appeal. The strap is a bit thin but has a nice buckle closure so it can be adjusted to a multitude of lengths. There is an extremely strong smell to the bag but it's not unpleasant-- just smells a lot like new leather, which is a smell I actually enjoy.I was looking for a nice leather satchel to both take to work and around town, and this is perfect. The numerous inside compartments, the ability to carry a laptop, and the beautiful leather make it an A+ in my book-- especially for the price. The bag is a versatile unisex style, and I think I'll get many years of use out of it.

A great leather bag for the price. Strap a bit thin, but holding well. Hopefully will last long.

Purses are great finish for any outfit or handy when going out. It does get annoying having to lug one around daily. I am sure most people can agree, women become walking hoarders when we carry purses. Reminds me of the dreaded diaper bag (if you're around babies, you understand). How many times have you seen one of us literally dump out the entire contents before we find what we need. During that process, we say "Oh, I forgot that was in there".I wanted the bag to be small but not micro, enough space to for my tablet and a couple of other items. I also didn't want to be restricted in my ability to wear the bag. I wanted something in leather because it is long lasting and usually very nice to look at. I read many bag reviews before deciding on this one.I just received my bag a few minutes ago. It is the perfect size for the things I carry on a daily basis. The color is very nice, it is a medium dark brown. There are no tears or anything to indicate it was damaged. The compartments are the right size for my phone, tablet and the extra items I have. My boyfriend won't be embarrassed if I ask him to hold it.The only con (another reviewer mentioned this), are the straps. They are definitely thin compared to other bags. This could easily be resolved if they double the amount of leather they use for the straps. Since I sew, I will fix them before putting the bag to the daily test.I will write an update once I have a chance to use it.

I work with leather and thought to get a few of these bags as design options and ideas. Bags range from high end to low end and of course these are low end options. I've never liked the saying, " you get what you pay for" so in this case, I find, it a value at its price point. The case does have an odor to it but being familiar I very much expect it to fade quickly over time. It's not a problem. The strap comes with 5 pre punched holes for the buckle and at my 6 foot height I have it on the least lengthy hole adjustment and the top of the bag sits at about belt level. I think for shorter consumers the bag would hang too low to be comfortable. A simple addition of a punched hole would cure that issue, The strap has plenty of length to double up on the opposing strap and the strap holder is movable. The interior canvas is firmly adhered to the leather. The pictures are a true representation of what was delivered. I feel that this bag if used in reasonable daily use would only get better with age. If you are a thrifty shopper, I'd highly recommend this bag.

This is a beautiful bag! It is real leather and I have received a lot of compliments on the bag. It does stink when it first arrives as it is sealed in an air-tight bag. I put my stuff in it the day I got it, it aired out over night, and the next day it smelled like nice leather! The only complaint I have is with the strap. Like others have stated the leather is thin, but another more concerning issue I had with the strap was the buckle. It is nice that it is adjustable; however, the buckle on my bag was loose so that the leather strap keeps coming out of it when I am carrying the bag. This makes it quite annoying, as while I am walking all of a sudden the bag will fall to the ground when the strap falls out of the buckle. I will stop, put the strap back in and walk until it happens again. If it is going to be adjustable, the buckle should fit the strap tightly so that this does not happen. I am looking for a way to solve this problem as I really do like the bag a lot (other than the strap).

Excellent authentic hand-made bag! Just throw away what brands sell. So hipster;)The quality of the leather is very good. Linings are not made of smooth and velvety synthetic material, they are somewhat rough but organic! Enough room for a 13-inch MacBook.The only and only drawback is the antiquated customs legislations of Canada. I was chareged $20 by DHL customs brokerage (including all fees) but still it is worth it!

Mi fiel compañera del día a día, el único detalle es que hay que ser muy selectivo con lo que cargas, es muy poco el espacio. Si etas buscando un portafolios es de las mejores opciones.

The bag is covered with a oily substance, there are spots of conditioner/wax. Horrible job at treating the leather if that is what was attempted. I needed to clean it and redo the whole leather treatment process, and it's still oily.

Love the bag. Looks nice and arrived early
