Bag arrived in perfect shape, bag not torn open, they were not stale in the least, the crisp of the shell just like you bought it from the grocery store. I didn't buy to melt, but as the saying goes M&M's melt in your mouth not your hands. It lasted a nice amount of time. I purchased for my wife and she was a happy happy woman. If you love m&m's and don't want to keep buying them, this 3 pound bag will hold you over for a long minute, so you can reorder while you still have some and with 2day shipping they can be replaced quickly!

I’m somebody who has to watch my sugar intake. I like to put these in my Almond flour cookies, about a dozen or so in each one. Love em. Enjoy…

They are good for decorating but not baking.
I tried using these in my chocolate chip cookies and they melted/dissolved into colored stains. Tasty but not pretty. They should be good to sprinkle on cupcakes or other iced items but I wouldn't use them for baking again. I actually wound up adding these to packages of mixed nuts to give them a little sweetness.
