This cd is the 1979 album initiated Josephs Coat Of Many Colours plus other tracks. Very positive Reggae CD from that era. For reggae roots lovers this is one for your collection.

Moving on to the ...........
The Crown Prince of Reggae at his absolute finest on this set of the bossest tunes around.Extended mixes of fantastic roots music. Some classic riddims done as only he can. Sublime music, you really ought to choose it! Not a skippable track to be found. Not sure why it is so expensive? Pair this album with the 'Love and Hate' and 'Joe Gibbs 'Best of' sets and you probably get most of the finest cuts DB produced over his long career.Listening to this music, I miss DB. Whatever happened to roots reggae music of this quality? I know there are a few artists who still carry the Ites,Green and Gold flag for proper reggae music but sadly, there will never be another Dennis Brown.

True Crown Prince style
This is Dennis Brown in real late 70's roots style, from the opening track Emmanuel God is with us, through to the last track Emmanuel version. Some of the songs are the uplifting, bassy reggae so classic of this time, with the bonus of extended versions and dub overtones. A good choice for any fan of 70's roots. You won't be disappointed.

The Crown Prince at his Best in a roots style.
Blood and Fire are bang on the money again with this one (THEY RARELY LET ME DOWN), Dennis is at the peak of his Roots out-put with this album which comprises of Josephs Coat of Many Colours set, originally on the Lazer label backed up with some choice additions such as the deejay cut to General.....in a word, HEAVY.!!
