Works and surprisingly thick
Using this to split my old school dryer plug to charge my Tesla. Charges the car at around 21 miles per hour (which is more than enough for my daily driving). Very heavy duty and thick cables gives me peace of mind that they won’t break or tear. I put a cover over my dryer buttons so I don’t use it while charging my car (very important so I don’t burn the house down using both at the same time)

Good for splitting dryer and EV charging
I use this splitter to connect my dryer and Tesla charging cable at the same time. Good quality and it's safe to use. Just make sure don't run dryer and charging at the same time otherwise your breaker is gonna trip.

Convenient to plug both dryer and charger
Been using this for a couple of months now. It works great for the Tesla charger. Just don’t charge car and run dryer at the same time.

Exactly what I was looking for
This spliter was exactly what I needed. Great quality, very heavy duty product. Keeps me from having to unplug the dryer to plug in my Tesla model 3. The dryer uses a 30 amp circuit. This spliter meets my need for two NEMA 10-30 receptacles without having to pay an electrician to run another 30 or 40 amp circuit. Tesla pulls 28 amps so obviously we can't run the dryer while charging the T. I have a little flag by the dryer that I put up when the T is charging to avoid overloading the circuit.

Using with a BMW i3
Stop charging your electrical car on Level 1. My house runs on dated electrical wiring. My 240V still uses this kind of outlet and I'm not in the mood to spend a loan to update my entire electrical network at the moment. This splitter is nice because you're not supposed to be unplugging / plugging your 240 outlet. Over time of constantly doing that will likely cause damage. This mitigates that and if you want to unplug / plug your charger - you can just unplug it at the one end of the splitter that it's using. I have not attempted to use both the dryer and charging my car at the same time. You shouldn't either!

Great, easy way to access 240V outlet
I used this splitter in the 240V plug in my garage normally used for my clothes dryer. The splitter, along with an appropriate extension cord, allow access for charging my friend's Tesla in a pinch. Just have to be sure to use only one or the other at any time to avoid tripping a circuit breaker.
