Anton Schneider Cuckoo Clock Four Leaves, Bird SC 40/9

Never owned a cuckoo clock before but our family had one when I grew up - my Dad brought it home from one of his many work trips to Germany. This one reminded me of my Dad’s clock and I am sooo very pleased - packaging was impeccable, so easy for a first timer to setup - simple high quality clock perfect size - makes me smile every day and I know my Dad is smiling from heaven every time it cuckoos!!

The clock looks delightful. Better than on the pictures. This one is small and that is the reason I chose it. I wanted it to add to the room design not to take all attention to itself. It works like it's supposed to. The mechanism is delicate and there are some nuances to handle it. Read the manual before you even unpack it.

Since this is the second one I purchased I figure I should probably review it. The clock is a real value for the price, a black forest cuckoo clock for under 200 bucks. It's the real deal and is mechanical so the weight on the chain has to be pulled down daily, part of my morning routine that I now enjoy. The bird/sound option (also mechanical) can be muted with a switch, I turn it on if I'm staying in for the day and turn it off at night. The ticking sound is quiet and relaxing. I liked this clock so much that I bought a second one for my office. As the previous reviewer mentioned it is a pretty small piece so check the measurements. If you're curious about cuckoo clocks at all you wont be disappointed, this is a great quality beginner cuckoo.

I have a tiny home and really wanted a cuckoo clock. This clock is a great size for a modest abode.I was shocked by how beautiful this clock is, the hands and cuckoo bird are carved wood. I hate to break it down but plan to rework the motif at some point. I want something unique so this will be my project someday. For now, it's beautiful and will stay at is.

Outstanding timepiece! I followed all of the directions, and I now have a beautiful, authentic, perfectly-functioning cuckoo clock! My toddler loves it, too! Do yourself a favor - support Black Forest artisans during the pandemic and buy an authentic Anton Schneider cuckoo clock.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for something cool, mechanical and that wouldn't break the bank. The battery powered clocks with recorded sounds seem so fake to me. This is a very cool mechanical clock. . I actually look forward to it going off. No frills, but very well made and classy. Word to the wise, follow the unpacking and installation instructions They are very well written and easy to follow. Its only my 2nd day with this clock but so far so good. I would recommend.
