FM-22-VPC 20oz French White Round Soup Mug Pop-Ins Vented Lid - 2 Pack

I have the older Stoneware version of the 20 oz mug (heavy, smooth sided, white with natural stone-like blue streaking) which was supplied with a differently designed vented lid. My significant-other did not know what it was and trashed it. Corning never offered that lid as a separate item so in desperation I ordered this newly designed lid. The older Stoneware mug is thicker but has the same basic circumference at the rim. With a bit of effort by pressing down all around the circumference the new lid did go on the mug. With soup-making usage the required effort has decreased. The new lid fits very snugly all around so there is no leakage over the top of the mug. The new lid is advertised as stain resistant and that is true. The original lid did immediately pick up an orange stain from soup and the new lid still looks new.

I ordered these based on someone else's review of a replacement lid for another brand of soup bowl, that had a cheap & poorly designed lid. The reviewer was exactly right, it fit perfectly and is a much better lid!

Old lids wore out after 25 years of service. New lids fit well on old cups.

I have always liked corning ware products so when I topped my souper mug with the new lid and stored a tomato based soup and after I heated the soup.....the red clung to the lid. It's not easy to get it clean. My old lid did not do this. It fits well and does the job but thought the price was a bit high for the lid only. Also I had to buy 2 lids since they do not offer the purchase of one lid.

I have had one of these for years, but lost the lid. I ordered replacement lids as well as these two new ones. They are a good size heat up well but don’t get too hot to handle. The lids are different than the original lid harder to get on but perhaps better sealing. A good product, I would purchase again if needed.

Ordered these to go with Corning Ware Soup mugs. I wanted to have extra tops in case the other ones that go with the soup mugs wore out. Perfect fit and they are replicas of the original ones!

These replacements are expensive, but well worth it. Can't find these lids anywhere else, and I wouldn't want to through out the bottoms just because I didn't have lids. It's a great seal for soup if you have newer lids. Very happy. They fit great, as advertised.

I was hoping they would fit the Corning ware one size larger. They should tell you more about what the size it. Too bad they don’t carry tops for all sizes.
