If You Care Wax Paper Unbleached, 1 ct, 75 SQFT

I was skeptical about whether this would work as well as "regular" waxed paper. Actually, I like it better! There is less wax on it, which is nice in the event that the food (cookies, for instance) is still a bit warm. I also like the thinner and more flexible nature of this paper; it's way less stiff and more workable than the regular stuff, without sacrificing any strength. I'll definitely buy this again.

Works as expected. I only wish it were a tad cheaper but I guess that's what you pay for less processed, non bleached products. I like that it uses soy instead of paraffin wax. Is paraffin wax even edible? I've always used that to soak my hands and feet in - yuk!

I use it in my experiment. I like it. It touches not like other waxed paper. This one is thinner but still has good performance on preventing water. Also this one is natural! I will recommend you to buy this!

I've used other brands of natural unbleached wax paper for a couple decades and was glad to find some on Amazon as the old roll was almost done. It's spendy, but so's the gas I spend shopping for it only to discover that my local grocery stores don't carry it. I agree with what others on here have said. The wax paper is fine but the box is TERRIBLE! It didn't even make it thru shipping intact. When I opened the outer packaging, the box was destroyed. Both ends had come completely unglued and the only thing holding it together was the roll of partly unspooled paper. No one would ever be able to use this product without a ton of tape from the get-go, and after the repair job the box would still be flimsy as you-know-what. Fortunately, I read the reviews on here before ordering. Smart me, I saved the box from my last roll (different brand, way better box) and it's still perfectly usable after several years in my kitchen. Dear If You Care: If YOU care (about your customers) please take a note and upgrade your box already!!

After what I read about white waxed paper being bleached, I researched and found this healthier option. I've even washed off/dried used sheets and reused them.

If your families health is important to you then this is the wax paper for you. I always do my research before making a purchase of any kind. I stay away from toxic material especially when it comes to food. I have been looking for an alternative to plastic wrap and aluminum foil. I’ve replaced all of my plastic containers with glass ones. This is the perfect wrap for sandwiches, to cover food and for making candy that you have to drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Yes it’s a little pricier than the old traditional waxed paper but if healthy choices is a concern then this is the way to go! I will definitely order again.

I thought I was using a "healthier" alternative to plastic wrap to store and microwave food when using traditional wax paper until a few years ago, when I discovered the "wax" was made from petroleum. I love the fact this natural wax paper is made from vegetable wax. Worth the extra cost in my opinion.

Ich habe dieses Papier jetzt seit ca. 4 Wochen in Gebrauch. Ich muss sagen, dass dies wirklich die beste Art und Weise ist, Käse und Wurst am Stück, sei es Salami oder Schinken, frisch zu halten. Einfach großzügig einwickeln, zweilagig je Seite genügt vollends, so bleibt die Ware in dem Zustand, in der sie gekauft wurde. Die Wurst trocknet nicht mehr aus. Speck ist beispielsweise bei mir früher in anderen Verpackungen entweder steinhart geworden oder begann schon nach wenigen Tagen zu schimmeln. Der Käse reift sogar noch nach, auch hier bleibt er schön weich. Ich denke, das liegt daran, dass das Produkt durch das Papier atmen kann, die Schicht aber den Austausch von Feuchtigkeit unterbindet. Ich kann allen diese Papier empfehlen, die viel Geld für wertige Ware ausgeben und diese ohne Qualitätsverlust im Kühlschrank auch über einen längeren Zeitraum lagern möchten. Schön, dass es noch solche Produkte gibt. Früher waren sie Standart, kann mich noch gut daran erinnern.

waxed paper has many uses, the most important in my view is that of wrapping up cheeses in it. It seems to keep cheese fresher longer and less likely to go mouldy too. It is also good for wrapping up meat, lining tins and anything else where you don't want things sticking to a container. John Lewis used to sell this, but not anymore, so I am delighted to have found a nice hefty roll on amazon.

I have used waxed paper for a long time for wrapping (or re-wrapping) cheese, bacon, ham,etc. It's so much healthier than plastic wrapping. This is the first time I have seen this all natural paper and thought I would try it. It is excellent and the lack of nasties makes it even more appealing.
