Awesome
Amazing replica

Bad imitation
Not any where close to the quality I had expected. It's not a model, it's a toy and not a very well manufactured one at that.

Passable
This was a gift and I own several others. They look good from a distance, though closer inspection will show these models are constructed rather cheaply. Each one is arguably about 5 to 10% too small, maybe more; the stock on the Kentucky flintlock is certainly not "meaty" enough. The trigger guard is screwed in place, as is the ramrod: Both should be inset in the stock. The flint on mine is plastic, and looks it. The flint on the pictured model appears to be molded from the same material as the lock (several of my other flintlocks are fashioned in this manner.) The finish will come off the stock if it is handled too much. The lock works and the gun can be dry-fired (there is no way this can be made to fire an actual ball,) however, the mechanism is a thin spring, so it will eventually break. None of these models is meant to be played with and rough handling, such as a drop, can lead to damage. That said, if the gun is mounted on a wall, where close examination is impossible, these deficiencies may go unnoticed, and you will have a nice display.

Nice
Looks good, I love its heavy weight, and it works but doesn't fire.
