Cnfaner 799728 Carburetor Carb for Intek 498027 498231 499161 Vergaser 12.5HP Mower with Tune Up Kits

Easy to install on my Craftsman 18.5 HP tractor lawnmower. Why bother shelling out 10x the price for a original manufacturer carb when this looks exactly like a Briggs and Stratton and works just as good.

The additional items that came with the carburetor would have cost more than was paid for the carb itself. The installation was quik and easy fitment was right on. Best of all is how good the mower runs.

Changed carb fist. After some adjustments it worked great. About 2 weeks later went to change spark plug and noticed it’s a little longer than the one I had in the mower but figured mower had wrong one in it so went ahead and put the new one in. Ran about 10 seconds and locked the motor up. Tire motor down and seen where piston was hitting spark plug and broke the spark plug and busted my piston. Don’t recommend using the spark plug

My 11.5 Briggs surged worse with this than the old pitted up carb. I rated 5 stars because the rest of the tune up worked great.

Fast shipping. Got my finish mower running again had to modify the air filter box to fit.

This was described as a fit to my motor. The carburetor fit fine but the spark plug and air filter were the wrong size. Couldn't return just part of it and I needed the carburetor right away. So, I had to spend more money in the correct plug and filter. Beware that this comes with a motorcycle plug not a mower plug.
