AIRCAT 1058-VXL 1/2" Vibrotherm Drive Composite Compact Impact Wrench

So I've read some reviews where they complain that this doesn't live up to the advertised torque. My problem is not that it doesn't have anough torque. I barley touch the trigger and I've over torqued a wheel lug nut. I've had zero issues taking lugs off of SUV's and standard cars. I purchased this specifically for tight spaces, but I've found I'm using it more than expected due to its weight. Awesome little tool, I'd but it again.

this 1058-vxl is my second it has held up for 2 years of heavy use for semi trailer air bags and disc brake Brake chambers, the first 1058 that lasted 2 years i did a tune up kit on 1 year ago and restored the trigger, I broke the Astro 1834 beyond repair in 6 months no warranty, I broke the Astro 1822 in 11 months no warranty, This Aircat 1058 lasts me 2 years before major internal failure that is ok to me, Note there is no warranty for any air tools so dont let them fool you in the fine print it tells you, I also broke 2 Aircat 805HT air ratchets and they tell you have to pay so i bought the parts and replaced the crankshaft myself to avoid paying what the tool cost new to warranty, I also broke the 1/2 drive anvil off on my Aircat1250k when it was 6 months old and some woman in Florida that works for Aircat told me I have to buy a new one, So i bought a new anvil and replaced it myself to avoid paying them for a defective product, So what im saying is this Aircat 1058vxl is rugged, Beware if you are a heavy duty mechanic with air tools and no Warranty I understand that they have no control over people running 150PSI but man they work better at 150psi LOL

Quickly sum this up. This is a disposable impact. Will kick but for a year, if your lucky, then it will sieze up and just blow air out like all the others. But for the price if it last a year of everyday abuse then so be it. On my second one as of now. Last one lasted 11 months will send out for warranty but had to buy another for back up. But on the market the best lil stubby there is for the price. Would I recommend to a friend..Yes with caution. But i would.

I have used this several times once it arrived and I have to say that its size, power, and ergonomics makes this one or maybe the best small air impacts. imo. The only nit is the small level. But with a 3 year warranty an superb customer service (they answered my question on CFM consumption in 1 hour) I am totally satisfied with the unit. The noise is considerably and noticeable;e lower that traditional air impacts. You have too remember that working in a small garage any equipment is intensified and more obvious. The wobble is almost nothing which is nice when you consider you can one hand operation for upper shock mounts, engine mounts, under carriage suspension, etc. Awesome!

It works. I miss ordered but it will remove about 250-300 ft on the daily. Have a high airflow swivel on 90psi at work. Sockets used mainly. 1 and 1/4. And 15/16. No issues.

i have been using aircat impacts at my job for years and this little guy fits into spaces that a full size will not and it has all the power you need i recommend them to anyone looking for an impact - price wise you cant beat them snap on -mac - matco would charge at lest three times the price for something this good

This impact looks pretty impressive out of the box, but from there on it loses it's luster. It reminded me of the 1057TH. I have owned a lot of impacts in 30+ years of auto service and this impact fails to meet my minimum expectations. It struggled to remove minivan lug nuts, much less suspension parts. My 1055T was going out again, so with all the good reviews and not being able to find another one reasonably priced, I tried this one. One use and I was starting the return process. The 1055TH is the one you want, but unfortunately it is no longer made and rare to find. It packs a punch in tight spaces, but fails to last more than about a year at best with steady use.

This tool made and aircat fan out of me. I'm and A.S.E. master certified technician in my 38th year doing this every day. I've owned DOZENS of air tools (Snap On, Matco, Ingersol, Mac, etc... ) This little bad boy is all of that and a bag of chips. Powerful, quiet, well thought out, feels good in your hand, controls are in the right place, twin hammer, smooth,------ WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU ASK FOR- Oh I know- less than 150 bucks-

This is now my favourite 1/2 impact. Surprisingly powerful for its size. Fits into places bigger guns can't. If it ever broke I would definitely replace it.

Works well in tight spaces. Well thought out, you can go from forward to reverse with a flick of your thumb. Easy control trigger to prevent snapping bolts. Has lots of power 550 FP at 90 PSI. 750 FP at 120 PSI. Very little vibration. This is the 3rd type of Air Cat impact wrench I have purcased and can't be more pleased with every product I have bought. Well worth the money.

Super achat pour le prix la qualité. Apres plusieurs mois jen suis tjr étonné de ca force et de ca légèreté. C mon premier outil qe j'utilise et rarement il manque de force!

After 2 months using, I can say, it is very nice one. Light weight, quite and powerful.
