Exo Terra Reptile Den XXL,Brown

Awesome and HUGE. Great for larger lizards or adult ball pythons

Much bigger than i thought lol, I use it for my adult cornsnake and he looks pretty small in it so I filled it with more dirt so he can get comfy, but you can easily hollow it out more to get an even bigger inside. Heavy but good material, have had it for awhile and have been satisfied since, I assume it’s easy to clean just clean it with water NO soap(for snakes safety) didn’t come with any suspicious smell.

My 4 ball python fits well with room to spare. Love the way this looks in her enclosure

This is a great den and very large however be sure to rub the inside u may need to rub sandpaper inside to knock off some sharp spots like I did. It only took 5 mins and was worth it. It was shipped fast and packaged great it looks great and so much room for my baby to hide in. So worth the cost and the 5 mins to knock off the few sharp spots. Would definitely get again.

I have an extremely bulky ball python, and he absolutely loves this hide. The color for what it is I think is nice if functions just as it should be, I think it’s worth how much it’s priced at the texture on the inside is very smooth while the texture on the outside is a little rougher and I did not notice any sort of smell with it

I finally unboxed this product and am very disappointed. The product received is not what is shown in the photos in the description. There is no rear opening. The inside of the cave has sharp protrusions and is cracked where fibers of interior materials are exposed. Multiple health hazards to an animal and a shame to waste a significant amount of money on an unusable product.

Looks decent and good size for smaller animals

beware, no returns allowed. the XL is very shallow and the opening is pretty small. I couldn’t tell the sizing from the other photos so I got both XL and XXL and now stuck with the XL. I wouldn’t recommend the XL unless you have a thin snake breed or one that burrows. I have a 2yo 3.5 foot ball python and the XXL is very large but it’ll probably fit him even when fully grown. opening is quite large so i do partially block it. these are really the only large natural looking hides on the market, and they’re decent. did have to file down some rough edges inside but coating makes it easy to clean and they are thick so no light shines through. i could easily fit two in his 55gal tank for hot and cold side.

This a well made hide hut. Its sturdy and has some weight to it. It's a great size for an adult Bearded Dragon or similar sized lizard. It blended in well with my bearded dragons decor and she loves to sleep inside it on occassion.

Min orm är väldigt glad över att bo i detta nya hem! Utmärkt kvalitet och form. Jag rekommenderar den varmt till alla djurälskare**!

I expected it to be a little larger , but my full grown male squeezes himself in there with his head almost sticking out .. looks good and made of good quality , I ordered it last night and it showed up this morning so I’m extremely impressed with shipping ! Overall good buy !

Firstly, like the other reviews say, there were a few sharp parts on the inside but don’t let that be a deal breaker! They were very easily filed down with just a standard nail file. As you can see I had the XL but purchased from another online store, at about the same price as this! But the issue with trying to find a hide large enough for an adult female royal Python is in store they’re ridiculous prices but online the measurements aren’t truthworthy, which is why I ended up having to keep the XL as I got it in a haul and the XXL was out of stock. It is more flimsy than the XL so just be careful when cleaning etc but other than that, for the price as well, I do recommend. Would probably be good for a smaller tortoise too, but definitely no snake larger than a female adult royal Python.
