This is an excellent leather collar. Gideon has been wearing it, non-stop, since we bought it. It has two separate leash attachment points. We use the one nearest the buckle for his tags. All of the stitching is impeccable and there is no noticeable fraying. He carries his air tag on it as well. He does get it removed at the groomer, you can see him feeling his "coolness factor" increase as soon as he gets it on. It is easy to it on and take off. It is a high quality collar and well worth Amazon's price. If this one ever wears out, I will do my best to get another one - just like it.

I purchased this collar for my Beagle and ended up having to get another 3/4 inch model. It fit well enough length wise, but was a bit too heavy for her. I ended up keeping it since it was not that expensive and I can give it to a friend. That said, this is one nice collar. Much better than anything you will likely find in a local pet store - especially at this price. It's well made all the way around. Nice pliable yet thick leather with solid stitching. The buckle and rings are made of heavy solid metal. Nothing cheap about this collar at all. I was bummed it was too heavy for my dog since it looked real nice on her. I like the extra ring on top too for attaching a leash. The one I ended up getting does not have that nice feature. Make sure you measure correctly before you order because you don't want to have to cut it if it's too long. Cutting it would compromise the stitching on the edges. Super nice collar and one I can highly recommend.

Dog collar is as described. Thick quality leather, attachments, and workmanship. If you're looking for a good leather collar for your best friend, you won`t go wrong with this one.

I purchased the XL dual stitch brown collar for my English mastiff back in November 2019. It is still, 7 months later, just as beautiful as the pictures and has held up perfectly with only one complaint. That is the smell. While not as strong smelling as it was the first month, it STILL smells of some sort of plastic or industrial chemical. I have used some high quality leather cleaners and conditioners on it and they have helped a bit, but I still occasionally catch of whiff of the collar when my dog is nearby. Aside from that, I do love this collar, as it suits my boys coloring and his size perfectly and seems to be comfortable for him to wear. I can't say how well it would hold up to strong pulling, as we trained our boy to not pull us on walks, but for our use...it's perfect.

EDIT: Two years later and this collar still looks practically brand new. A little wear on the hardware but minimal. The leather has gotten softer with time and no issues with the stitching. I will admit that my dogs only wear their collars out on walks but i actually think that’s a hinderance with leather as it needs to be worn to remain pliable and soft. So A+ rating from me. Just remember to size up if close to posted size range. Original review: Really nice collar. Leather is soft and the stitching is solid. My dogs go through collars like crazy so I decided to try leather. This seems like it’ll hold up well and will be easy to clean. Simply wipe with a damp rag. Took off a star because my dogs neck measures 18” but I had to return the medium as it’s too tight. I could get two fingers under the collar but just barely. I did measure the outside circumference with the collar when closed and it did measure 20” but with the thickness of the leather and the fact that they didn’t take into account that you’re not putting the collar on tight, I’d say to take 2 1/2 - 3” off their sizing when ordering. I liked the collar enough to buy it in the larger size. I just wish that it was the same width. My dog is very stocky but not tall so the thinner collar looked better. I would recommend to anyone looking for a leather collar.

The moment I buckled it on, he started walking around the house like he was conducting performance evaluations. He gave me a look that said, “Your productivity is concerning, Karen.” His name is not Karen, but the collar has given him HR energy. Pros: Real leather, so now my dog smells more expensive than my car. Durable enough to withstand a 120‑lb chaos gremlin pretending to be a wolf every time he sees a leaf move. Looks classy. Like, “sip sparkling water and judge the neighbor’s dog” classy. The tag jingles just enough to remind everyone that he runs the household. Cons: My dog is using his newfound authority to ignore commands with even more confidence. He sits like he’s posing for a magazine called Bougie Pets Monthly. I’m 99% sure he expects a matching leather leash, a briefcase, and maybe a personal assistant. The collar looks so sharp that now I look underdressed next to my own pet. At one point he caught his reflection in the window and just stared, nodding slightly like, “Yes. This is who I am now.” I haven’t recovered. Would I buy it again? Yes. Has it inflated my dog’s ego to uncontrollable levels? Absolutely. Does he look amazing? Also absolutely. This collar hasn’t just upgraded his style — it has altered the power dynamic of our entire household.

This collar is beautifully made with outstanding quality genuine leather! I bought it for my dog for his 3rd birthday and it suits him very well! I would have submitted a picture of him wearing it but with his thick mane, you can’t see it much anyway! Lol!
