Ok standard quality. Not rugged but not crap. Middle of the road
It works but I would be careful with them. Not rugged quality. Standard duty construction

No battery worries when in vewhicle
This is just the ticket if you use a talkie in the car as a temporary mobile unit. Worked great on a PoFung 82 radio.

Save your HT battery while on the road, use your regular battery when you don't have a car to run on
This is a great alternative to using your HT battery while in the car, and saves the charge until you are out of the car.

These do not work!
If your radio is set to high-power transmit (i.e. 8 watts), these adapters do not have enough power to transmit. I tried 4 of these, and none of them work (perhaps they are knock-offs?). I'm curious how other reviewers got them to work; it could be they were only using the radio for reception (which works) or were transmitting at a lower power setting. Note I have a BTech version of this, and it works fine.

Four Stars
Does what it is supposed to, but they don't seem very durable.

Mine did not work.
These are definitely home made. Appear to be the original battery with the guts removed with a hole drilled in the bottom to allow the wire to go inside. Inside is a small regulator with double sided tape holding it down. Mine do not work

Junk: Don't waste your money
Does not work. I ordered a two pack. The first one would power on the radio, but when I tried to transmit, the radio would shut off. The second one would not even power on the radio. Test in different vehicles and with different radios.
