Does it scan fake coins

Yes, the coin's denomination is based on the coin's diameter. Therefore, any fake coin that has the same diameter as a real coin will be counted as such.

What is the plus and minus for ?

You can manually add or subtract money by using the plus or minus. If you take a dollar out you minus $1.00.

does it continnue to add? in other words if you add coins a couple of days later, does it keep a running total?

Yes this keeps a running total. I can add coins weeks later and it still adds it. Keep in mind that if you put the coin in too slowly it may count it wrong, but you can use the plus and minus buttons to fix the amount as needed. I use that also if I open the top to add dollar bills

Where can I get Coin Wrappers?

Used to be able to get them at banks. I just use the coin counting machines when it gets full.
