This NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE XXL puzzle is not for beginners, or for the faint of heart! Any 2000-piece Ravensburger puzzle is difficult, simply because of the number of pieces, but this puzzle is probably above average in difficulty. The puzzle measures 52" wide by 24" high--it's a panoramic puzzle--so make sure you have cleared a wide space for it. The XXL size means that the fine photo details are spread over more than one puzzle piece, and this increases the difficulty. The puzzle is easiest to assemble if you stand over it as you go, so that you can see the bigger, overall picture. Ravensburger puzzles always have color areas to help you. That's true of this puzzle, but the sky--there's lots of it!-- has less color variation than usual. The border pieces are easy to find and assemble, but when you start on the remaining puzzle, it really dawns on you what a challenging task you have undertaken. There are piles of dark blue, light blue, autumn-colored, and mostly-white pieces that look very much alike. For me, the hardest area was the lower left side, with all of the blue trees; and the big snow-covered tree at the right was far more difficult than I expected. The castle was easy, and the autumn-colored trees were easier than you would think from looking at the box photo. Despite its difficulty, this puzzle was a pleasure to work. The photo is just so beautiful! Working at a comfortable pace (one to several hours at a stretch, but not every day), I needed about a month to finish this one. As usual, I found the Ravensburger craftsmanship to be extraordinary--the pieces fit together so nicely that mistakes were few and far between. I highly recommend this puzzle for expert (addicted) jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts.

Ravensburger is the best puzzle brand we have found. The quality of their puzzles is always top notch. The pieces fit together nicely, the image is always bright and crisp, and the pieces don't bend or break apart like with some puzzles. All Ravensburger puzzle pieces are blue on the back, which is a nice touch, but sometimes makes it a bit more challenging to pick out blue pieces such as sky. They also come in a nice sturdy box. Another great feature of all Ravensburger puzzles is that they are packaged in a plastic bag (within the box) that is labeled with a batch number that you can use to try to get replacement pieces. We have never had a puzzle from them that was missing any pieces (and we have done around 20-30+ of their puzzles), but if you happen to end up with any missing pieces yourself, you should have the batch number available so you can contact Ravensburger's customer service (through their company website). I suggest that when you open up your puzzle, you write the number from the bag on the inside of your box. This way, you don't have to keep the bag around, and you will always have the appropriate batch number with each puzzle. Their current policy states that they are not always able to replace single pieces, but they will do their best to resolve the situation. Their manufacturing process requires they change the cutting tools every so many puzzles (and this process changes the shapes of the pieces), so my guess is that you will be able to get replacement pieces as long as your puzzle is from the current cutting tools. This particular puzzle was pretty challenging. Not the most visually striking of the Ravensburger puzzles, but I like the castle.

Ravensburger is top quality. Each piece is durable, study, and locks into place perfectly. This specific puzzle was the most difficult I've ever attempted. I got frustrated and let it sit for a month before finishing. And, it's super large! Check the product description for measurements and be prepared. I had to track down an extra wide folding to fit this puzzle. I enjoyed the feeling of accomplishment upon completion. I'd say this puzzle is for advanced puzzlers only.

Pretty good quality pieces. The picture is nice, decent quality for the size of the overall puzzle. I have had a couple pieces that fit together perfectly but in the wrong spot. On the outline, I ended up with 3 extra pieces that I found fit in between 2 pieces I had fit together. Upon close inspection, the incorrect pieces appeared to fit together perfectly. This was in the sky part of the picture, so it was very difficult to find the very slightly different shade of sky. Maybe this is part of the challenge of a puzzle, maybe not; I don't know. The picture on the cover is slightly cropped down from the actual puzzle, so it is a little difficult to find the outer 2-3 rows of pieces, but again, maybe that part of the challenge to the puzzle. I'm still working on it after about 2 months as I've gotten busy and haven't touched it in a few weeks. I won't ding it a star for being the cause of a potential roommate spat for this being on the table for so long. Overall it is a fun and challenging puzzle.

This Ravensburger Neuschwanstein Castle, 2000 piece, XXL Panorama, jigsaw puzzle is a beast. Our household is fond of castles and vistas in our puzzling, so this jigsaw was a good fit and a unique opportunity for our needs. Measuring 52 inches wide and 24 inches tall, this puzzle required us to use an old, retired kitchen table, now a work table/game table, plus the need to insert the additional two leaves to accommodate this puzzle’s massive dimensions. Bought in late 2015 as a birthday present, we were neophyte jigsaw puzzlers and our match was quickly met with this puzzle. The castle goes together quickly, but the endless trees, snow, more trees, clouds, snowy trees, and sky (which quickly went in last) required more fortitude than we could exact through the past four years. Now finally completed at the New Year in 2020, with the occasional need to put this behemoth away once or twice over the years for the use of our table and space, this jigsaw was a bit above our abilities. Finally, we brought it out once again this past year, set our course with the wind at our backs, and with the aid of eagle-eyed youths and visiting mother-in-laws adding a piece or two over time, we obtained the Golden Fleece from the Minotaur after an arduous battle and, now completed, will be retired to our closet. Some have complained about the picture being blurry, and I disagree to an extent. The pieces (and trees) certainly do not have iphone 11, crystal-clear pixel resolution of selfies, but with paintings and photographs like this, ones that resolve when you stand away from the picture, I think it would be silly to expect much more, plus it adds to the difficulty level of the puzzle, which for us amateurs, is high. In the end, this puzzle is really only for the expert puzzler, the amateur with a steely constitution, or (as is my case) those with a Romanesque-Revival Bavarian castle lover at home with plenty of extra flat surfaces in their lives. Recommended.

Be sure you have space to lay this one out. It’s beautiful but when you buy 2000 piece puzzle you know it takes time. I was excited to do this puzzle, but had to put it away before I finished. Looking forward to starting over at a more appropriate time for me. Puzzle pieces are sturdy and fit together firmly, all interlocking. No weird shapes. I always recommend Ravensburger brand.

We purchased this puzzle during the 2020 Quarantine. We had just finished a 1000 piece puzzle and wanted to do more puzzling. Ravensburger puzzles are high quality and the sheen is pretty. This is not for the quick to finish puzzler. This puzzle is difficult, so many colors blend into the overall scene which makes it confusing and there are so many pieces. We sorted by colors and put half of the pieces in the box because we didn't have enough room and it made it more manageable. It took us about 6 weeks working part time on rainy days and nights. It's beautiful and we are so happy it's complete. After all of that work we will preserve it and have it framed.

Ravensburger's legendary quality is on full display with this fantastic puzzle! It's bright, and brilliant, what a showstopper. Just be sure to note the size, it's positively gargantuan.

Soy muy aficionada a los puzzles, siempre he hecho de la casa Educa. Pero al ver en Amazon, esta marca , y al ver los comentarios de otros clientes, sobre las piezas, mi marido se decidió a comprar el castillo, personalmente no me hacía mucha gracia, me gustan más de otro tipo . Pero he de reconocer que es con el Puzzle que más he disfrutado por su dificultad y calidad. Las piezas no tienen nada que ver, con las de otras marcas pueden ir de todas las formas posibles , las que no tienen ningún dibujo como el cielo y las nubes. No están mal troqueladas ni en mal estado como me ha ocurrido con otros puzzles, ni se desprenden las capas. Mucha paciencia para hacerlo, lo he hecho en 2 semanas , he de decir que tengo tiempo, ya que no trabajo y estoy jubilada, y los ratos que mi Salud me lo permite , me gusta dedicarlo a esta afición. No me ha faltado ninguna pieza, sino me hubiese puesto en contacto con Ravensburger, leí en un foro y reponen piezas o te envían otro. En general todo es difícil excepto el castillo, te puedes guiar por la impresión de la caja, en pocas ocasiones . No lo recomiendo como primer puzzle para hacer. Lástima que cuando empecé a hacer este, Amazon añadió al catalogo, el de 3000 piezas y no es panorama, sino hubiese comprado ese, pero con este estoy muy contenta y satisfecha . Es precioso . Recomiendo comprar la madera, quien lo haga encima, 2 mm más grande tanto de ancho como de largo.

Das Puzzle ist wirklich sehr schön. Qualitativ hochwertig die Teile passen gut zusammen. Für den relativ geringen Preis sehr zu empfehlen.

El paisaje final es divino pero lo que mas me gusto es la calidad de las piezas, hacen click fácilmente y si es la pieza luego luego se queda en su lugar. Solo no me gusto que el color de atrás de la pieza fuera azul, como tiene ya mucho azul el paisaje marea un poco.

Ravensburger makes the best quality puzzles that I've come across. The pieces lie flat and don't get crumpled edges. This specific puzzle is spectacular! It arrived the next business day after I ordered it (with free Super Shipping on an Amazon Prime trial offer.) Price was lower on Amazon than anywhere else I've looked for Ravensburger puzzles and the number of different puzzle pictures again exceeds any other competitors. Beautiful puzzle, best quality, great price, huge selection to choose from, and it arrived the next business day - 5 stars!

Il puzzle è davvero bello, molto impegnativo per via delle parti dai colori simili ma alla fine il risiultato è davvero molto bello. Le tessere si attaccano alla perfezione e non si staccano troppo facilmente, non c'è da sbagliare, solo un'alternativa di incastro è possibile. Non posso dire ancora nulla sul quadro finale perché non l'ho ancora incorniciato, ma direi che merita, e poi il paesaggio riportato è stupendo, davvero sembra di esserci di fronte!
