Lightweight and insulated
My company gave these as safety awards years ago and I used it every shift to hold my cold drinks and water in my ambulance cab. It eventually wore out and got kind of "raggedy". I searched and scoured the internet for insulated backpacks. Finally found the exact same backpack here on Amazon. I love these bags! Lightweight and insulated, and it fits between the ambulance seats on the console.Zippers hold up, it's pretty durable with the exception of a couple of sewn areas came undone. I can fit 6 bottles or cans inside using 2 freezer bricks to keep them cold.Recommended!

Cooler Back Pack
I real like like this one it's perfect for lunches or a picnic hike. It's comfy to Cary, plenty of space and good value for the money.

Amazing bag, would recommend it to anyone. Useful for families or construction workers.
It fits so much more then you'd imagine. I pack 3 bottles of gaterade, 3 bottles of water, a container of food, a yogurt, some string cheese, chips, utensils, etc...plus ice packs & it not only remains cold but still has room to spare. Part of hubby's job is climbing up some of the highest buildings in NY city so the fact that this is a bookbag is very useful to him because he's got free hands to carry up work related tools & not need to make many trips back down these buildings.Hubby sometimes rides his motorcycle to work & this bag is awesome for that as well.***Edited 3/24/2021***My husband uses this bag for work 6 days a week. Still functions great. No leaking, not falling apart. Keeps his drinks & food cool.

Looks good
Here are my initial thoughts having just received it today - have not used. I have two typical nylon sports packs I use to carry computer, electronics, and basic clothing when I travel. This pack is roughly the same size as the old ones. My goal is to be able to use it as described when traveling, but upon reaching my warm weather beach destinations, ditch the travel related contents instead for beer and ice. As other reviewers have noted, I agree with the notion of sticking with cans to avoid puncturing the non-removable liner with sharp bottle cap edge. Essentially, the inside of the bag is a molded no-sew-seam nylon bag. It is very thin feeling, so I caution against anything sharp - including typical refrigerator ice cubes with sharp edges that I believe could easily puncture the liner. The front outer "dry" pocket is ample to hold an iPad mini, wallet, iPhone, etc, but not big enough for an IPad Air 2.The two side mesh pockets are good for bottles or other items that you don't mind being visible. There's elastic cord at the top of the bag which could be ideal to secure a light jacket when traveling, or a beach towel.I also have another packpack cooler, which is "industrial" but isn't practical to carry as on board luggage - so this cooler is all that I expected - meaning, if I wanted larger and leak proof, I already have it, but if I want light weight, and I fear that will, eventually, come with a leak here or there. Ice packs instead of ice cubes may be a requirement to avoid that problem.I plan to bring some extra typical kitchen trash bags to that after being wet, and for the return flight home, I can use a trash bag as a dry-liner to ensure my computer, clothes, etc don't wick up any water.

Works great with excellent Construction
This is an extremely unique and well made insulated backpack for food storage. I work 12 hours a day in a home setting and get no breaks for lunch. I have to take all my meals for the day with me and any drinks that I want. That takes up a lot of space especially when you add ice packs. This pack works very very well. I have put cans of cola in the bag with one ice pack and 24 hours later the soda pop was still cool. It wasn't extremely cold. But then again and it been 24 hours and being chilled at all is impressive. My only criticism might be that it doesn't have any kind of a semi rigid frame. Perhaps that would go against its intended design but it would be easier to work with when filling it as it tends to fall over until you get the bottom of it filled. If you're in a hurry that could be us like frustration but other than that this bag is perfect and will do exactly what it says it will do and do it better. If you're looking for a larger soft cooler for food storage and or beverages, this is what you're looking for without a doubt

Lining is weak
The backpack is a great product design. The capacity is very sufficient for carry lots of beers or a family meal. I had no issue keeping things cold for 7-8ish hours. However the inside bag lining is very cheap. I thought it was a fluke on my first bag but I purchased a second bag which ripped on the 4th use. This could easily be a 5 star product, but build quality loses major points.

Great quality, size and construction
I've been looking for a backpack cooler for eons. All that I found were either too large, cheaply made or way too expensive. The OAGear is none of those things, so a perfect fit for us.We just took ours on a vigorous hike in the Great Smoky Mountains. I loaded it up with one freezer pack, one 16 oz bottle of water frozen solid and six 16 oz bottles of water. I had room to spare and due to the shape, it wasn't bulky or uncomfortable. Eventually, the frozen bottle of water melted and there was a huge puddle left inside. However, not a drop leaked through to the outside! The straps are wide and padded, which makes them comfortable. The canvas fabric is tightly woven so it resists tears and pulling. The zippers are heavy duty and well attached. I expect it to work just as well for our beach vacation this summer.I'm very pleased with the quality of this pack and recommend it. Should anything change, I'll be certain to update this review.
