Classic - Classic - Classic, in a Morden style! The best standalone. I'm still learning it but this has increased my production like crazy! Akai surely couldn't tick all the boxes on this one (but, who does these days 😏). The way the machine communicates with the human touch, a friend of mine even made a joke to say "if Apple designed the exterior for the, it would be SMOOTH and STUNNING." It really could have gotten better with enough research, considering the features and the direction Akai was taking creating this.. But other than that, it's a MUST BUY! Producers and beat makers! get this one. The step sequencer, sampler, arranger, everything internal about this is just so perfect. You will still need a DAW for vocals trust me. Probably there's a cool way of recording vocals I haven't found, but the one I am using right now is a total failure. It's good for short > additional vocals on your production. Not a full vocal session. Akai. Please make a Midi keyboard for the force with at least 49 keys (I personally want 61). I am not buying the Mini MPK, 25 Keys just ain't for me. And the existing keyboards have knobs and faders we don't need if we own the FORCE. They expensive for what we don't need in the force. So please, make a separate Midi keyboard for the FORCE and we will buy it. Because I really need it. You can still play chords and notes with the pads, but I love creating melodies in Midi. Wow! This amazed me from the start. I have been working on it for about 6 months now. I have to say, most enjoyable experience since vinyl turntables for making beats. This is close to the original Akai MPC. Didn't disappoint. Keep on creating

The main selling point is the 64 pads. Unlike with my MPC live 2 I dont have to use a midi keyboard because of the 64 pads. I feel like I can create a full song with the Force easily because of the clip launching- Ableton style. I also bought mine used in Amazon Warehouse but was surprised its still in pristine condition even though the previous owner left there recordings. I just did a full factory reset. I bought love my Force and Live 2.

Akai Force is a great music ideation, performance, and production unit. The concept is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Having a complete and portable MPC with no need for a laptop or computer is awesome! I look forward to future updates and improvements.

It was a good size, nice and thick. Though it was very difficult to stretch.

I have an MPC X and a lot of the functionality is the same for the most part. There is learning curve though in that muscle memory for the two are completely different but not hard to manage. The operating system eats more resources than the X and 2gigs of RAM is a little restrictive but if you know how to allocate then it’s cool. The pads and clip launching are what sells me on it. Nice addition.

Compré mi Force en 2024 y a un año y mese de haberla comprado y con la última actualización de firmware que hizo akai en Mayo puedo decir que es una auténtica bestia, sonidos excelentes para producir cualquier tipo de Beats sin la necesidad de un ordenador, la curva de aprendizaje es alta pero valdrá la pena cada centavo invertido en esta pieza de hardware, estoy muy feliz con esta compra. La recomiendo ampliamente.

Eierlegende Wollmichsau...der ultimative DAWless Controller unter 1000€ Die AKAI Force ist vom Workflow , dem Handling und den Möglichkeinen die man mit ihr Anstellen kann einfach der Hammer und es macht unfassbar viel Spass mit ihr zu arbeiten. Alles geht super intuitiv und schnell von der Hand wenn man sich erst einmal ein wenig in das Gerät hinein gearbeitet hat. Unter den derzeitigen DAWless Controllern unter 1000€ für mich die eierlegende Wollmilchsau, die von ihren Möglichkeiten unfassbar viel unter der Haube hat und meines Erachtens im Schatten der anderen MPC Live Geräte sich in keinster Weise verstecken muss und dabei noch so einige Vorteile bietet. Das fängt direkt bei der Bedienung an die extrem stark an Ableton mit seinem Clip basierten Session Ansicht angelehnt ist an. Wer mit Ableton gut zurecht kommt wird sich hier gleich sofort wie Zuhause fühlen...und das als Standalonegerät wohlgemerkt. Im Grunde ist die Force das was viele Ableton User sich schon seit einiger Zeit wünschen, eine Ableton DAW die ohne Rechner funktioniert. Ich besitze übrigens in meiner Sammlung auch neben meiner Ableton Live 11 Suite die Push 2 und merke aber trotzdem immer wieder wie es mich zur Force hintreibt...einfach weil man mit ihr so unkompliziert schnell auf dem Sofa Ideen umsetzen kann. Force auf einen kleinen Stand stellen, sich aufs Sofa lümmeln, Kopfhörer auf, fertig. Ultimativ wäre noch ein Akkubetrieb wie es die MPC Live 2 von Korg bietet, die ich übrigens auch schon auf meiner Agenda habe. Apropos MPC Live...die Force ist stark an das MPC Universum angelehnt. Im Grunde handelt es sich bei der Force auch eine auf dem MPC basierten Betriebsystem auf dem sie aufbaut. Trotzdem geht sie hierbei nochmal aufgrund ihrer Gridbasierten Oberfläche mit 64 Touchpads (alle Anschlagdynamisch) ihren eigenen weg ohne sich dabei von ihrem Funktionsumfang und Möglichkeiten verstecken zu müssen. Was gibt es noch so zu sagen: das Touchdisplay ist knackig scharf und reagiert zudem unfassbar gut auf Eingaben mit den Fingern. Da hab ich bei einem Konkurrenzprodukt von Pioneer vor kurzem gerade erst eine herbe Enttäuschung erlebt was für schlechte Touchdisplays doch einige Hersteller in ihren Geräten verbauen. Speicher lässt sich mittels SSD Festplatte erweitern...ich hab hier eine 1TB SSD von Sandisk verwendet die anstandslos erkannt wurde. Ebenso kann man vorne noch einen SD Karte reinstecken. Im Grunde gibt es unfassbar vieles über die Force zu schreiben, aber das würde den Rahmen dieser Rezension sprengen. Geheimtip: Es gibt seit ein paar Tagen einen extrem guten Lernkurs von "DVD Lernkurs" der sich nur um die AKAI Force dreht. Den kann ich jeden nur wärmstens ans Herz legen. Einfach mal nach googlen. Von mir auf jeden Fall eine Kaufempfehlung...mehr DAWless bekommt man nicht für sein Geld.

Bonjour, je l'ai acheté pour pouvoir coucher rapidement toute mes petites idées. Et même si cette machine est bien évidemment fort capable d'en faire bien plus. Elle est très satisfaisante pour ce que je lui en demande. Demande un petit temps d'adaptation pour bien en sortir ces capacité... surtout si l'on n'est pas habitué à ce genre de workflow. Je pense que la machine gagnerai également à posséder une plus importante quantité de mémoire vive (RAM). Sinon, que du bonheur pour l'instant.

Es una pasada hace de todo, procesa sonidos, looper, arranger(daw), caja de ritmos, etc...Es un home studio en pequeño, la calidad de sonido es muy buena, con los tutoriales de YouTube es muy fácil de usar. Si no tienes pensado que te vas a pedir para reyes, pídetelo, tiene entrada de micrófono y guitarra, y se puedes hacer canciones completas y contarlas, yo me lo pedí con una tarjeta sd de 32 gb y un disco duro sata de 2,5" de 256 gb 43 euros las dos memorias de SanDisk, con el móvil me descargue el fichero de update de akai a 3.3, con un conversos de tarjetas SanDisk también y no fue necesario conectarlo al ordenador. En youtube también viene como actualizarlo como instalar el disco duro, en mi caso un SanDisk ssd de 256gb de estado sólido y aunque yo también compré una caja de tornillos de 7 € el Akai force trae los tornillos para fijar el disco duro. Animaos porque yo tengo un home-studio y está máquina, le llaman la bestia, me ha sorprendido con creces.
