These are a good price, and they work very well! The lid closes effectively. Note: if the lid mechanism pops off, there are small grooves on the side where you can pop it back in. They are a standard 16oz size as advertised--that's enough for two cups of liquid. The bottles arrived clean with no odor, and they stand up well with a stable bottom and no wobble. I am using them to brew water kefir for my second fermentation, and they hold the carbonation well. Pro-tip: do a "burp" once a day to relieve pressure for safety.

We have purchased these 1L bottles from this small business 6 times (for a total of 36 individual bottles) - and smaller ones, too. They are exactly what we need for bottling homemade kombucha. They are attractive, sturdy, have a strong seal which withstands the pressure of fermenting kombucha (though we do have to be careful after adding fruit to "burp" them as they sit on the counter at room temperature during the second ferment). The customer service we received from the seller was excellent when we contacted them for replacement bottle brushes (since we use the cleaning tool so often). They were helpful, polite and quick. As friends start the kombucha hobby, we will surely gift these same bottles to them.

Fantastic. Exactly what I was looking for and a really good deal on these for the price. It also comes with a long handled sponge for cleaning and a small collapsible funnel for filling so you don’t have to buy those seperate! I’ve used these for making my own sodas at home so I can store them in the fridge and these are perfect. It’s also a really nice elevated touch when I bring them out to share with a touch of class. I’m very glad these are made with a top latch that is really easy to snap on and off, yet tight when in place for a really good seal. These are neither too thick glass nor too thin so it’s just the right weight and thickness. These are packed excellent for shipping and the bubble wrap sleeves these come in are also great to reuse as insulation sleeves, which I further wrap by dropping into a sock on the outside of them to protect from breakage if I’m taking on the go and it keeps it very cold. I love the fact these are natural glass to protect the taste of the natural ingredients I use as well as for food safety. Great purchase.

Sturdy, well-made glass bottles. Good for water kifer and other brewed liquids. Excellent wire, plastic, and silicone top closure. The silicone washers are especially nice. High quality and seems like thick glass.

good and durable but I did not end up using them really. just one or two times for fresh juice but then I found another product that suits me better.
